KH- Fast Food Madness!

Namine stared up at the ceiling, her eyes widening. No! They couldn't have a power outage! Roxas and Sora would be in extreme pain if their medicine stopped working...and as much as she worried about Roxas, she was also worried about Sora. If he was this bad now...

Sora used both arms, including his injured one, to hold the pillows down tightly against his head. It wasn't getting better...but it wasn't getting worse either.

 

Kairi still had her head up facing the ceiling. She balled her hands into fists and closed her eyes, praying that there wouldn't be a power outage. It'd make things worse. She started muttering an unintelligible prayer under her breath.

Roxas held Namine close, flitting his eyes to the window. Another flash of lightning, which caused him to squeeze his eyes shut.

 

Namine cringed and burried her head deep in Roxas' chest, tears flooding to her eyes. Nothing is going right! She thought miserably, thinking about all the bad things that had happened lately.

Sora let out a groan, though it would barely be heard through the pillows. He felt tears flood his closed eyes as he hid from the noise and lightning.

 

Roxas looked down at Namine. "It's okay!" he cried over more thunder, instinctively holding Namine tighter.

Kairi opened her eyes after her prayer, but was blinded by white light; a lightning bolt. She turned her head away from the window, squeezing her eyes shut.

 

Namine flinched and started to shake, mostly because of sadness. Although the storm was quite frigthening.

Sora let out a cry, his body curling into a ball as he kept his head under his pillow.

 

Roxas held Namine even tighter. This storm was having a bad effect on everyone!

Kairi looked down at Sora after the temporary blindness and decided to do something about it. She got up from the bed and quickly made her way to the door.

"Kairi, where are you going?" Roxas hollered.

"I'll be back!" she yelled before exiting the door. She needed to get Sora help.

 

One sob escaped Namine's throat as she let Roxas pull her closer. She desperatly wanted to feel safe, but she felt like she needed to look out for Sora somehow, but she was powerless. She bit her lip and leaned into Roxas' chest.

Sora's body began to shake as he started to sob, the pain even more extreme with the combination of his friends yelling and the thunder. He had no idea what was going on anymore; he could only feel pain. He really couldn't take much more of this.

 

Kairi hurried down the hall, hoping to find a nurse close by. She saw one walk around the corner. She ran toward her, her expression worried.

The woman looked up, concerned. "Is there something wrong?"

Kairi nodded. "Yes, my boyfriend's in trouble. The thunder is hurting his head from his concussion, and he's in serious pain."

The woman nodded. "I'll go grab the doctor," she said before walking away quickly.

 

Sora's body suddenly started to go limp on his bed, though the shaky still could be seen. He was fading from conciousness, the pain forcing him back to sleep. He bit his lip and heard another sharp cry exit his lips when he heard more thunder.

 

Kairi made her way back to the room quickly, hoping that Sora's doctor would come soon with something to help. She opened the door and walked in, hurrying over to Sora's bedside.

Roxas looked away from the window, squeezing his eyes shut when a blinding flash went through the room. He held Namine tighter, rubbing her shoulder a little in reassurance.

 

Sora's body continued to shake as it started coming out of its ball, Sora fading away from conciousness as the noise continued to erupt in his head. He let out a ragged breath, the pressure of the pillows on his head getting lighter as he lost his strength.

Namine whimpered softly and grabbed Roxas tighter, the tears starting to fall from her eyes again.

 

"Sora?" Kairi asked worriedly. She didn't like the looks of any of this. She flitted her eyes to Roxas and Namine, noticing Roxas trying to comfort the blonde. Kairi turned her eyes back to Sora, putting one of her hands on his that was gripping the pillow in worry.

Roxas lowered his head to Namine's ear. "Relax, Nami. It'll be all right," he said before another roar of thunder was heard. It was a little quieter than the last few.

OOC: Quick question--is there any certain reason why you're scared? Sorry, that's been bugging me for a while. xD

 

Sora bit his lip and felt his body continue to go limp, almost wishing that he could lose conciousness so the pain would end.

Namine nod into his chest, though she continued to shake.

The doctor walked into the room just as another lightning bolt lit the room.

OOC: I'm actually scared because I don't want to go to bed. Last night, I think I had nightmares all night. And whenever that happens, I'm afraid to go to bed the next night.

So that is why I'm scared. Dx

 

Roxas brought one of his hands up and cupped the back of Namine's blonde head, a little frightened. Sora was in pain, Namine was upset, and the storm was terrible. It all had to happen at once?

Kairi could see Sora's face underneath the pillow, and she bit her lip to stop herself from letting tears flood her eyes. Now wasn't the time.

OOC: Aww. Ugh, I hate nightmares.

 

Namine kept her eyes shut tightly as she let Roxas hold her, slowly calming down.

The doctor quickly walked over to Sora's bed and inspected the situation, seeing that Sora was in bad shape. "I need him rolled over," the doctor told Kairi as he reached into a pocket and pulled out a needle.

OOC: Yeah, they're horrible. D:

 

Roxas bit his lip and looked down at Namine, running his hand down her long blonde hair as another lightning bolt went through the room.

Kairi nodded and tried speaking to Sora. "Sora, you have to roll over. The pain will go away if you just give the doctor a few seconds," she explained, her eyes widened in worry.

 

Namine whimpered softly, biting her lip again.

The doctor looked down, but he didn't see Sora's body respond. He figured that the boy couldn't hear right, with all the noise echoing in his head. The doctor shook his head and spoke to Kairi. "We'll have to turn him over." He put the needle down on the endtable by the bed and looked at the redhead.

 

Kairi nodded and started to try to roll Sora over.

Roxas closed his eyes and lowered his head, his face just above Namine's head.

 

The doctor gingerly rolled Sora over and removed the pillows off the teen's head. It was as he suspected: Sora was already unconcious. He reached for Sora's limp arm and stuck in the needle, injecting the medicine into his system.

 

Kairi bit her lip as she watched the doctor.

Roxas heard another roar of thunder, and it shook the floor beneath them momentarily. He could feel it. He raised his head and looked out the window, raindrops running down and hitting the window continuously.
