KH- Fast Food Madness!

Namine quietly exhaled and closed her eyes, not wanting to look out the window again.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on the window, blinking when he saw a bolt of lightning in the sky. He waited for the thunder that should follow, and it was a few seconds after. The storm was close.

 

Sora flinched and opened his eyes a crack, the loud thunder making his head ache. When another bolt of lightning lit the sky, Sora quickly looked away, his head bursting with the pain of the noise and light.

Namine opened her eyes a crack and saw that the storm was going to be really, really nasty.

 

Roxas jumped slightly at the thunder that followed after a lightning bolt. He didn't like the sound of that.

Kairi furrowed her eyebrows slightly at the noise, still in her sleeping state.

 

Sora cringed and brought a hand to his head, in pain. He bit his lip and looked around the room, trying to find something to distract him.

Namine looked up at Roxas curiously, her arms still tightly wrapped around him.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on the window, tightening his hold on Namine slightly in uneasiness. Rain drops started hitting the window occasionally, starting to sprinkle outside.

Kairi moved her head slightly, starting to wake up from the disruptions.

 

Sora let out a queit, sharp gasp when the loudest rumble of thunder resounding outside. He frowned and shut his eyes, his hand by his head clenched in a fist.

Namine looked over at the sound of a gasp and noticed that Sora was awake. A confused look spread across her face. What was wrong? He looked like he was in pain...

 

Kairi jerked awake, blinking as she adjusted to the lighting. What was going on?

Roxas looked over at Sora worriedly. This wasn't good for his head. He looked back out the window a second later.

 

Sora leaned back into the pillows, his eyes shut tightly as he let his hand fall back to his side, still clenched in a fist.

Namine noticed Roxas' worried glance, and she became more curious...and worried. "What's wrong?" Namine whispered quietly to Roxas, sure that nobody else could hear her.

 

Roxas leaned his head down so he could whisper in her ear. "Sora has a concussion. He's sensitive to light and noise," he explained quickly, just before thunder roared through his ears.

Kairi jumped at the loud noise, the thunder scaring her.

 

Namine silently nod and cringed at the sound of thunder.

Sora let out a quiet moan, gripping his hand even tighter than he had before. The sound...it just kept ringing and ringing in his head! And it kept getting louder. He bit down on his lip, not opening his eyes.

 

Kairi looked up at the groan, and became worried when she saw Sora in pain. She pushed herself upright in a sitting position. "Sora, cover your ears," she said, but the thunder interrupted her and drowned her out, so he probably didn't hear all of it.

Roxas muttered something unintelligible under his breath just as the thunder rang out and water started hitting the window with a harder force.

 

Namine turned her head and saw that Kairi was awake, but she was clearly focused on Sora. And for a good reason; he really looked in pain.

Sora cringed, almost going insane from the horrible noise. Make it stop! He plead internally, his eyebrows coming down as he tried to hide the pain.

 

Kairi bit her lip, her eyebrows furrowed, and put her hands over Sora's ears to try and help him.

 

Sora opened his eyes a crack, wondering what was going on. He saw that Kairi had put her hands over his ears, and she looked worried. Sora bit his lip, and let out a small whimper when another crashing noise filled his ears, the sound not hindered by Kairi's hands.

 

Kairi kept her hands against Sora's ears, not giving up. If the thunder would just stop... She looked over to see Roxas and Namine staring in worry. "The thunder's hurting him!" she cried, but then she cringed at another boom of thunder.

 

A sharp cry escaped Sora's lips at the sound of thunder and and quickly forced himself into a lying position, using his pillows to cover his head and ears.

Namine's eyes widened when she heard Sora's cry. She had never seen him like this before...

 

Kairi pulled her hands back when Sora moved, her eyes wide in worry. He needed help.

Roxas' eyes were wide, and then he squeezed them shut at the bright light that flew through the room from the lightning. It was blinding.

 

Sora whimpered as he burried his head underneath his pillows, his body trembling. Every single sound rang out in his head, and it wasn't quitting! More noise kept being added, and it kept growing too! How much more of this could he take?

Namine grunt softly at the blinding light and burried her head in Roxas' chest. She didn't like this...not one bit. Seeing Sora in pain was just torturous, and it was bring back memories of everything she was trying to forget.

 

Roxas looked down at Namine and then back up when he saw the lights flickering.

Kairi glanced up, her lips parted slightly. If the power went off, the hospital staff would be rushing around everywhere to help the patients.
