Sora nod. "Yeah. They told me I got a concussion." He finally let out the fact in a quiet voice. He grimaced slightly at the fact.

 

Kairi blinked, surprised by that news. "Oh..." she replied. "I see..." She wasn't expecting that.

OOC: Gotta go for now! Be back later, hopefully! Bye!

 

"But I'm not worried about it," Sora said quickly, looking at her face. "So you shouldn't be either." He gave her a weak smile.

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

Kairi met his eyes and nodded. "Right. As long as you're okay," she said in agreement, returning his small smile.

Sora smiled and gazed into her stunning blue eyes. That had gone better than expected.

Kairi smiled still, gazing into his eyes. "Is there anything else that I should know about?" she asked softly. No walls--they promised. "I mean, a concussion is probably the worst thing you have...right?" The fact that he had a concussion bothered her a little, but she tried not to show it. It was a dangerous injury, and it was something she wasn't expecting. And now she understood his sensitivity to noise and lighting. But she'd at least be happy that he was all right.

 

Sora laughed softly, a small smile on his face as he answered her question in a quiet tone. "No, I think that's about it."

 

Kairi nodded once slightly with a small smile. "Good." That was a relief.

 

Sora smiled softly at Kairi, relieved to see her relaxed again. And close by his side too; he hadn't been this close to her for a while. At least, not while he was concious.

 

Kairi looked down, her fingers finding the necklace she loved so much. She was glad it hadn't been ruined in the battle or lost while she was unconcious. It would've broken her heart to have lost it somehow.

 

Sora quietly let out a breath and leaned his head back against the pillows, shutting his eyes for a moment.

 

Kairi bit her lip, her head lowered as her red hair hid her eyes. She was relieved, mostly because things hadn't been worse. It was bad that both of the boys suffered broken bones and a concussion for Sora, but there was one thing that could've been worse. Death. And Kairi was so thankful that nobody had resulted to that during the brawl.

 

Sora tiredly opened his eyes and looked at the red head, a small smile on his lips. "There's an open spot over here, if you want it." Sora said softly, patting a spot next to him on the other side of the bed, really, really wanting to be close to Kairi.

 

Kairi looked up and then followed Sora's gesture with her violet-blue orbs. She smiled as she met his eyes again and nodded slightly. She stood up and started walking around the bed to sit next to him.

 

Sora looked down as he scoot over on the bed to make room for Kairi, letting out a small grunt as he did.

 

With a small smile on her face, Kairi sat herself down in the open space next to Sora. She suddenly thought of the time before when she sat next to him in his bed.

 

Sora turned his head and looked at Kairi, a small smile planted on his face. He slowly moved his head forward and gave Kairi a light kiss on the cheek before backing away, the smile staying on his lips.

 

Kairi smiled at Sora, the smile reaching her eyes. She leaned back into the pillows as she relaxed, a soft sigh escaping her as she kept her eyes on his.

 

Sora returned her smile before letting his eyes drop down. He slowly lift his hand and let it rest on top of hers.

 

Kairi slowly turned her hand over so she could wrap her fingers around his.
