KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora shot Kairi another confused look. Why did she sound so sad about it? Or was he just so groggy he was seeing things that didn't really exist?

 

Kairi shook her head slightly to assure him it was all right after seeing his expression, a small smile on her face.

 

A small smile replaced Sora's confused look as he gazed at Kairi, slowly becoming more awake. He must have imagined Kairi's sadness before.

 

Kairi's smile widened slightly, and then she tucked her hair behind her ear.

 

"That's wonderful," Sora said softly, finding his voice again. The smile on his face grew as he started feeling relief and happiness.

 

Kairi nodded, even though she felt guilty. She knew Sora would be happy for her, and she smiled softly.

 

"So...when did this happen?" Sora asked, still a little lost because he had missed something important.

 

"Only a few minutes ago. The doctor came in while you were asleep," Kairi explained softly.

 

"Oh." Sora put his hand down on the bed and slowly started moving into a sitting position, ignoring his aching head and chest. He gazed down at the floor as he changed his position.

 

Kairi smiled slightly and looked down at her hands in her lap. Hopefully they could both get out of here soon as well, that way she didn't have to feel guilty for very long.

 

Sora bit his lip and curled his hand into a fist as he finally made it up into an upright position, his head only spinning for a few moments. He sighed softly and shut his eyes a little, gazing down at his arm in a cast.

 

"So, are you feeling any better?" Kairi asked before looking up at Sora. His condition was more important than hers, of course.

 

"Yeah," Sora answered, opening his eyes and looking at Kairi. "I'm feeling better than before." Sora gave her a weak smile, debating on whether now was the right time or not to tell her about his concussion.

 

"That's good," Kairi said softly, smiling slightly. But there was something she felt Sora wasn't telling her, but she wouldn't press the issue. Sometimes the feelings she had weren't always correct, so she wouldn't make assumptions.

 

Sora's smile widened a little when he heard Kairi's answer. He still wasn't sure if now was the right time to tell her or not. After all, it did kind of feel serious in here...what could one more confession hurt?

 

Kairi's smile stayed on her lips as she gazed at Sora's blue eyes. She had a feeling things would get better soon, and she hoped that feeling was right.

OOC: My dad told me I have to get off in 10 minutes, but I'll probably be back on around 11:30 or 12 my time. =)

 

"The medicine is definitly helping," Sora put in, a little unsure about how to approach the topic.

OOC: Okay, I'll try to be on. =)

 

"Helping your arm?" Kairi asked, considering every other injury he had was gone, which was still a mystery to her. She never did find out how they all disappeared.

 

Sora nod slowly. "That, and my my head." He chuckled softly, a small smile on his lips. "I hit my head one too many times."

 

"Oh. I'm guessing they told you that when you went in for your MRI, right?" Kairi wondered. She suddenly remembered that now.
