KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora brought a hand up to his face and wiped at his eyes, trying to shake away the sleepiness. He was very surprised that he had actually fallen asleep.

 

Roxas silently stared at the skyscrapers in view, Namine coming to his mind. He hadn't seen her since before the battle at the restaurant. She was probably really worried.

 

Sora put his hand back to his side and sighed softly as he opened his eyes. He tried lifting his head out of his pillows and inch, but it fell back down into the softness with a small grunt escaping his lips. It still hurt, but it was feeling better than earlier. The doctor must have come in while they were all asleep.

 

Roxas turned his head when he heard the noise coming from someone in the room. He smiled slightly when he saw Sora was awake. He was probably weak from the medicine. Roxas knew he was, at least.

 

Sora turned his head on its side as he shut his eyes again, looking in the direction of Roxas and the window.

 

Roxas turned his head to look at the ceiling. His leg hurt a little if he moved, but the medicine he'd gotten while he was asleep toned it down a notch.

 

Sora let out a soft sigh as he opened his eyes a crack, gazing down at the ground.

 

"Have a good sleep?" Roxas asked as he continued to stare at the ceiling, his voice soft.

 

Sora nod once and turned his eyes to Roxas. "I guess. How about you?" His voice was soft and a little scratchy because of his dry throat.

 

Roxas nodded. "Yeah. I was out of it before I realized it. I guess that's good when you're in here, that way you don't have to deal with the pain." He blinked, his blue eyes glued to the ceiling.

 

Sora nod and turned his head toward the ceiling, flinching slightly when a tender part of his head rang out in pain from touching the pillow again.

 

Roxas sighed softly and closed his eyes, relaxing.

Kairi rolled over in her sleep, now facing Sora and Roxas' direction.

 

Sora stared up at the ceiling with his bright blue eyes. He hated this place so, so much. But he had no idea when he could leave for good. If he ever would. He made a quiet sound of disgust. Did he forget everything he had thought through earlier?! His friends needed him to be strong!

 

Roxas had to keep good thoughts in his mind, that way the experience here wouldn't be completely miserable. True, he was in pain, but mental pain wasn't any better.

 

Sora stared up at the ceiling. He wanted to say something to lift the heavy atmosphere that covered the room, but he couldn't think of anything to say.

 

"Any thoughts on what you want to do once we're out of here?" Roxas asked, his eyes still closed. He'd dealt with too much silence. It was time for a little more noise than heart beats and breathing.

 

Sora shrugged a little. "I haven't thought about it too much." Sora said quietly and honestly. He had mostly thought about what was going on in here. "But being as far away from this place as possible is sounding pretty good."

 

Roxas opened his eyes. "Vacation?"

 

Sora laughed softly. "A vacation sounds pretty good." Sora agreed, his laughter turning into rough coughing. He shut his eyes and squeezed his hand into a fist.

 

Roxas smiled. A vacation did sound good. Getting away from this place sounded even better.
