KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora sighed softly, feeling the pain come back to his head. He shut his eyes and rest.

 

Roxas looked down at his leg. He tried to think of how he did that in the first place. Was it the behemoth, or just the Heartless? He couldn't remember.

 

Sora shift a little in his bed, wincing when he felt pain in his side and head...especially his head. He shut his eyes tightly and let out a breath.

 

Kairi furrowed her eyebrows in her sleep, her hand by her face balled up into a fist.

Roxas let out a sigh and let his head rest in the pillow. As long as his leg got better, that's all that mattered.

 

Sora turned his head in his pillow, his eyes shut as he faced Kairi. A quiet sigh escaped his lips as he lay in his bed.

 

Kairi was back in Boston Market, Sora's Kingdom Key in her hands.

"Kairi, get out!" Sora screamed. "This is getting too dangerous!"

Kairi kept a stern look on her face as she stared at a Neoshadow. "Summon back the Keyblade!"

"No, keep it to protect yourself!" she heard him holler. Kairi slashed at a Neoshadow a few times before yelling back.

"I'll be fine! Just do it!"

"NO! I can only really use my one arm, so it's pointless for me to have two Keyblades!" Sora shouted back.

 

Sora looked down at the floor and blinked several times, his eyes drooping and staying shut after the last one.

 

Kairi saw a Soldier heartless lunge at her, and she jumped back in time to barely miss its claw swipe across her stomach. It suddenly crouched down and before she knew it, she felt it collide with her, her body suddenly in the air. Her back rang out in pain when she hit a hard surface and started sliding, her body falling off what she realized was a table. She hit the floor and rolled once so she was lying on her stomach.

Kairi twitched slightly in her sleep.

 

Sora sighed softly. The pain in his head was making it impossible for him to sleep. He shook his head sadly and laid on his back, staring up at the ceiling again.

 

Kairi's eyelids opened, and she grunted softly from the blow. She caught sight of another Soldier heartless leaping at her, and she raised the Keyblade in front of her immediately for defense as her body lied on the floor. The heartless' attack was blocked as it bounced back in a daze. It disappeared suddenly, a flying blur passing right through it. Kairi knew it was Sora who had helped her, and she pushed herself up as fast as she could, Kingdom Key still in her hands.

She looked over and saw Sora against a wall, and she gasped. "Sora!" she cried. However, she had to use the Keyblade to block another blow from a Soldier that had been aimed at her face. She swung the weapon at the thing, and it went back a few feet.

Kairi's heart monitor jumped slightly as she slept, her dream affecting her heart rate.

 

"Huh?" Sora gasped, snapping out of his daze when he heard an out of place heartbeat. He had just gotten used to the beat. Whose heartrate changed...Roxas' or Kairi's?

 

Kairi was about to swing at the same heartless when a dark blur whizzed past, startling her. She whipped around and slashed another, catching a figure out of the corner of her eye, but it wasn't a Heartless. His outcry told her who it was, and she suddenly felt relieved that Roxas had shown up. He'd help get rid of a majority of the Heartless, better than she could do at least.

As he and Sora exchanged quick words, Kairi swung up at a Shadow, sending it up into the air and away from her. She felt her leg sting suddenly and she winced in pain. She looked down and kicked the Shadow in the head before hitting it with the Keyblade, making it disappear.

Kairi gripped her sheets as her dream continued.

 

Sora turned his head and immediatly felt his eyes widen when he saw Kairi. Yup, she was definitly the source of the rising heartbeat. "Kairi?" Sora called gently, looking at her sleeping figure.

 

Kairi had been pushed into a table, a cry of pain escaping her as her back got hit into the table. She had swung at the heartless that approached her and sent it away in a puff of smoke. She pushed herself away from the table as she lunged at a Heartless, and then she felt something nip at her leg. She suddenly met the floor and she grew angrier. Kairi pushed the heartless off of her and hit a Neoshadow.

After pushing herself up again and blocking a Soldier's attack, Kairi screamed, "There's too many!" She pushed the Soldier back from its position leaning against the keyblade.

Roxas looked over at Sora when he said something, arching a brow.

 

"Kairi?" Sora said again, seeing no response the first time or second. "Oh no, she's having a nightmare." Sora grimaced and let his worried eyes fall on her sleeping form. He had to help somehow. If he could just wake her up somehow...

 

Kairi swung the Kingdom Key at a Soldier, its head being her main target. It went away in a puff of smoke. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught movement and whipped around, only to get tackled to the wooden floor by a couple of Neoshadows. She held the Keyblade above her with both hands as they stayed on top of her, one of the Neoshadow's claws right on the blade. She squeezed her eyes shut and turned her head when one screeched in her face. She opened her eyes, catching a glimpse of one pulling back its claw from the corner of her eye. A cry of agony and pain escaped her throat as she felt the claw dig into her neck and slash across her skin.

The monitor jumped again, a little more this time as Kairi twitched, tears wanting to escape her closed eyelids.

 

Well, sitting here wasn't doing any good. Sora put his hand down on the bed and started lifting himself up, letting out a soft cry as he moved into an upright position. Everything hurt so bad!!

OOC: I gotta get off for the night, bye!

 

Kairi heard her name suddenly, and the scream sounded so real. She pushed with all her might to try to get the Heartless off of her, but one screeched in her face again. "Sora!" she cried, only to get slashed in the arm.

Kairi rolled over, now facing the ceiling as her nightmare went on, tears forming behind her eyelids.

Her arm and neck rang out in pain, burning. She squeezed her eyes shut as the intensity grew in her wounds, specifically her neck. She felt a cry of agony start from deep within her.

Kairi shot up suddenly from her position on the bed, gasping when she opened her eyes. She breathed heavily as she took in her surroundings, the fact that she was in the hospital and that it was all a dream registering in her mind. Tears immediately left her eyes as she started crying from fear, her heart monitor racing.

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

"Kairi?!" Sora's worried voice exit his mouth as he bolt into a fully upright position, shocked by Kairi's sudden awakening. He winced and let out a small whimper when his head rang out in pain, and he instinctively brought up a hand and bit his lip to quiet his whimpering.

 

Kairi brought a hand to cover her eyes as tears left her eyes. That dream, it was so horrible! She'd dreampt of everything that happened earlier in the restaurant, and it actually seemed like she had the burning pain again.

Roxas had pushed himself up slowly, but a little faster than he normally would in this condition. He felt a small pain in his leg, but it went away in a few seconds as he looked over Kairi's way.
