KH- Fast Food Madness!

The doctor motioned with his over at the other bed. "You mean you didn't notice?" The man was surprised.

 

Kairi turned her head and her eyes widened. "Oh my God," she said. "Sora...?"

 

Sora turned his head on the pillow so that he was facing the love of his life. "Hey, Kai." He murmed softly, opening his eyes a crack and then quickly shutting them when the pain shot out again.

 

Kairi's eyes welled up in tears. He was okay...or so she thought. She turned to the doctor. "What happened?" she asked.

 

"After the incident at the restaurant, your two friends stumbled out, barely concious and badly wounded. Both lost a lot of blood." The doctor explained softly, looking down at Kairi with sad eyes.

 

They were both here? Roxas must have been in a different room. "Are they going to be okay?" Kairi asked.

 

The man nod. "Hopefully. Hopefully we didn't get help too late for them." He looked down at the clipboard and walked over to Sora, checking his moniters and everything.

 

Kairi brought her hand to her face and felt a tear brush her fingertips. She couldn't believe this...

 

The man walked up to Sora and gently picked up his arm to check his blood pressure. Sora let out a cry of pain, feeling extremely tender in that spot.

 

Kairi cringed at the sound of him in pain. It made more tears leave her eyes.

 

"That hurts?" The doctor questioned, pulling back his hand.

No, I just cried out because I wanted to! Sora thought angrilly, not saying it aloud because he didn't have the energy. So instead he bit his lip and nod once.

 

Kairi didn't know what to do. There was nothing she could do...but lie here. She bit her lip and wiped under her eyes, trying to stop herself.

 

"You had to get replacement stitches in your shoulder." The doctor state, starting to run down the list of injuries. "You also fractured your arm and needed stitches on your stomach and back. Right now, we're giving you as much blood as we can without putting you in danger."

 

Kairi really didn't want to hear any of this, it hurt her too much to hear what Sora had gone through. She turned her head away from his bed and stared at the wall, wincing a little from her cut, but she grew accustomed to the pain.

 

"Can't you give me anything for this headache?" Sora murmured, concerned about his strongest pain.

"You're already on the strongest medicine we can give you. I'm sorry, Sora." The doctor spoke quietly, truely sorry.

 

Kairi closed her eyes, trying to block out their words.

 

Sora groaned softly and shut his eyes, resting into the pillow. He didn't even notice the doctor leave the room.

 

Kairi bit her lip. Sora was still in pain, even if he was on medicine? The hospital couldn't even help him? Kairi bit down harder on her lip, trying to not think about that.

 

"Are you okay?" Sora asked Kairi, his scratchy voice breaking through the silence.

 

Kairi kept her eyes closed. "I guess..." she answered softly. If by that he meant she was in less pain than him, physically she was. Emotionally, though, she was torn. Too much had happened.
