Simba jumped up and grinned widely."He won't care...we're talking about Sora here. He's helped all of us. Let's go!"

BIC: "But maybe Tarzan would want to come too..." Pooh said hesitantly.

 

"You got a point." Simba's smile faded.

 

"I guess we should all just get back to work for now." Pooh returned to the grill.

 

Dang it! Simba thought. He wanted to go see Sora. He also wanted to take a break from work. "Okay."

 

"Besides," Pooh said aloud, "maybe Sora wants to be alone for a little while."

 

"Yeah..." Simba said slowly.

Jack sighed. "I guess you're right..." he was disappointed. He walked back lifelessly to the grill and absently started to make more patties.

 

She sat up straight, now fully awake. The look in Sora's eyes scared her. "What was it?" she asked, concerned.

Roxas knew that Axel was mad. He could see the fiery red hair of his friend always at the window, and he knew that he was looking over at him with hate. But Sora was in desperate need, and he was best friends with him. So of course he would take his job while he was gone. Axel had to understand that.

 

Namine walked behind Roxas and put her hands over his eyes. "Guess who?" She whispered into his ear.

 

Roxas chuckled. He couldn't mistake that voice for anyone else's in the world. "My angel," he whispered.

 

Namine giggled. She turned him around and rapped her arms around him. "The prize goes to the valiant knight in shining armor."

 

Roxas smiled, wrapping his arms around her fragile figure, one hand against the back of her bleach blonde head. He rested his cheek against her hair, kissed it once, and held her tighter. "You doin' okay?"

 

"Yeah, just sad for Sora..." She said, embracing Roxas. "I can't believe that happened."

 

"We all are," he said. "I tried to help him the best I could, but it wasn't enough."

 

"You're so brave..." Namine said. She put her hand on his and kissed him. "I'm lucky to have you as my lover."

 

Roxas pecked her pale lips again. "I love you, Nami." He pulled her into a hug. "I promise I won't ever leave you. And if something happens to me, I want you to know that I'll always be in your heart." He was sad to be saying this, but he had to get it out.

 

"I love you too. And the same goes for me." Namine laid her head on Roxas' chest.
