KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora turned his head again, his eyes opening a crack but quickly shutting again. How could they feel so heavy all of a sudden?

 

Kairi glanced over her shoulder at Sora curiously.

 

Sora blinked several more times, slowly, as he started to wake up again. He had always had a problem with being very groggy whenever he woke up.

 

Kairi looked at Sora for a second but turned her attention to her new necklace that her fingers found again.

 

Sora blinked once, hard, as he propped himself upright more, forcing himself to keep his eyes open at least halfway.

 

Kairi stared down at the jewelry around her neck. She smiled slightly. Sora had picked out something beautiful, and she loved it.

 

Sora sighed softly and leaned forward, running one hand through his hair as he tried to wake himself up.

 

Kairi looked up and flitted her eyes to Sora, seeing how sleepy he was. She smiled. "Welcome back," she greeted.

 

Sora gave Kairi a weak smile and shook up his hair as he turned to look at her. "How long was I out?" He asked, his voice sounding a little slurred because of his grogginess.

 

"Maybe a little over an hour...I'm not exactly sure when you fell asleep," Kairi explained.

 

Sora groaned softly and let his head fall back against the couch, trying to shake off the grogginess but not able to. He had only been asleep for one hour? Was it possible to feel so groggy after taking such a short nap?

 

Kairi let her eyes follow him and she bit her lip. She brought her feet up to the couch and hugged her knees at her chest, getting comfortable.

 

Sora blinked and put on a small smile as he watched Kairi. "Now you know why I never have people over in the mornings," he said with a grin.

 

Kairi smiled and let out a small laugh. "That's okay," she said softly.

 

Sora smiled softly and slowly rose to his feet, stretching his legs.

 

Kairi followed Sora with her eyes. She'd wondered where all that sleepiness had gone to from Roxas' house.

 

Sora stretched out one arm, and then raised up his bad arm to inspect it. He could see a black and blue bruise forming in a line, a little bit above his elbow and a little bit below. He bit his lip and stretched that one a little bit too, figuring that momentary pain would be better than long lasting stiffness.

 

Kairi hugged her knees and rested her chin on her knees. She blinked, sparing herself a few seconds before she spaced out.

 

Sora let his arm fall back to his side and grimaced slightly when he saw Kairi, thinking about how often he left her alone. It wasn't fair to her, but he couldn't really help it. "You must be bored out of your mind," Sora comment seriously, saddened by the thought.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes to Sora, her chin still on her knees. "I wouldn't necessarily say that," she said. "If I had to be anything right now, I'd say I was thoughtful."
