KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora looked over at Roxas and nod softly at the message that Roxas had relayed to them.

 

Kairi smiled. She hadn't seen Namine in weeks. It'd be nice to see her again.

Roxas glanced up at them and smiled softly before turning his attention back to his phone, typing away on his phone keys.

 

Sora would have suggest that the four of them spend the day together, but he knew that Roxas hadn't had much alone time with Namine for a while. It would probably be better to let them be alone for a little while. The four of them could get together some other time.

 

Kairi closed her eyes slightly as she started thinking. She didn't know how long it'd be before she saw Riku again either. She hadn't seen him in what felt like months.

Roxas clicked a button and then shut his phone again, leaning back in his chair while he waited for her to text back.

 

Sora leaned his head into the back of the couch and shut his eyes halfway, feeling sleepy. He hadn't gotten much sleep last night, and he wasn't used to moving around so much. Plus, he didn't know if his medicine was making him drowsy or not.

 

Kairi exhaled softly, comfortable next to Sora. She'd probably fall asleep like what she did in the hospital. But that would be rude towards Roxas. She couldn't do that.

Roxas leaned his head against his fingers as he relaxed, waiting on his text.

 

Sora smiled faintly and let his eyes close all the way, telling himself that he was only resting.

 

With another tune, Roxas flipped his phone back open and started reading the text from Namine.

Kairi bit her lip as she stared off into space. The silence was nice, but awkward all the same.

 

Sora let out a soft sigh, shifting his head just a tiny bit as he rest his eyes.

 

Roxas sent the text and looked up, chuckling when he saw the two.

Kairi flitted her eyes toward Roxas when she heard his laugh. "What is it?" she asked politely, curious.

"If you guys are tired and want to go, you can. It's no big deal," Roxas explained. "I understand."

 

Sora opened his eyes and looked over at Roxas with a weak smile. He really did want to see his friend again, but he could hardly keep his eyes open.

 

"Roxas," Kairi started, uncertain.

"No, really. It's okay." Roxas flashed a grin.

Kairi smiled softly, feeling a little bad. She looked up at Sora. "Do you want to go?" she asked.

 

Sora looked down at Kairi, feeling guilt as he felt the words leave his mouth. "Yeah, if Roxas is sure he doesn't mind..."

 

Roxas shook his head. "Not at all."

Kairi glanced at Roxas and then at Sora. "Okay," she said softly.

 

"Okay," Sora said quietly, slowly taking his arm back.

 

Kairi lifted her head and sat up straight, stretching a little before pushing herself up from the couch.

 

Sora put his hand on the couch and used it to help push him stiff body up off the soft couch.

 

Roxas stood up and put his cell phone in his pocket.

Kairi smiled softly at Roxas. "It was nice seeing you," she said politely walking toward him. She gave him a friendly hug. "Thanks for having us."

"Sure thing," Roxas said, pulling from the hug after a second. "Thanks for coming."

 

Sora smiled softly as he walked over to Roxas, silently wondering if he should try to give him a friendly hug. It was Christmas, and they were like brothers and all, but it would be awkward with the sling.

 

Roxas laughed at Sora's hesitation lightly. He ruffled the brunet's hair playfully. "The next time I see you, you better not be as sleepy," he teased with a smile.
