KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora walked towards the door and saw Roxas and Kairi standing there. He greet Kairi with a small smile and a silent wave.

 

Kairi smiled when she saw Sora, revealing her pearly whites. "Hey," she said walking toward him.

Roxas smiled slightly when he looked at the couple.

 

Sora's smile grew at the sight of Kairi's as he responded. "Hey," he greet back, watching her as she walked closer to him.

 

"How're you feeling?" she asked. If Kairi found out he hurt himself while she was gone, she'd be upset.

Roxas walked past the couple and back into the living room silently, finding his place in the chair.

 

"Fine," Sora answered, surprised at the random question. He didn't really understand why she had brought it up all of a sudden; they had only been apart for a little while.

 

"That's good," Kairi said softly. "There are a lot of ice patches out there. I slipped on one yesterday, I didn't want you doing the same."

 

Sora raised an eyebrow. "When exactly did that happen?" He asked, looking down at Kairi.

 

"Yesterday," Kairi said softly, biting her lip.

 

"You said that already," Sora pointed out softly, turning his eyes towards the ground.

 

Kairi looked away, nibbling on her lip. "Um...it actually happened after I left. And then when I came back I didn't see it and I fell." She kept her eyes on the wall next to her.

 

"Oh," Sora's eyes softened when he realized why she had been avoiding telling him exactly when it had happened. "You're not hurt, are you?" He asked, feeling a little worried.

 

Kairi met his eyes again. "I might have a bruise on my back," she said softly. She hadn't looked at her back in the mirror lately, so she didn't know if it was bad or not.

 

"Mmm," Sora said softly as he gently raised his hand, brushing Kairi's bangs out of her eyes.

 

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you," Kairi apologized gently as his fingers brushed her forehead, her vision clearing slightly from her bangs.

 

Sora smiled faintly and pulled his hand back. "It's alright; we had a lot of other stuff going on last night." Sora could understand why she might have hidden that from him, considering the awful state he had been in last night.

 

Kairi nodded silently. Last night wasn't something she really wanted to think about. If she had told Sora, it probably would've made everything worse. She was a little relieved that she decided to dismiss it until later.

 

"But now that's in the past," Sora said quietly, offering Kairi a small smile. He reached out his hand towards her, inviting her to slide her small hand into his.

 

Kairi smiled softly. "Right," she agreed quietly as she gently slipped her hand in Sora's.

 

Sora smiled faintly and leaned down a tiny bit, planting a small kiss on Kairi's red hair.

 

Kairi smiled slightly. She squeezed Sora's hand gently. He treated her so well, even when he didn't have to.
