KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora stood at the window and let his mind wander. The snow looked so beautiful that he just wanted to go out and run around in it and laugh like he used to, but he knew he couldn't do that yet. He was definitly more cheerful, but he wasn't quite back to normal. He smiled faintly. That would change soon; he would make sure of it.

 

Kairi went into the living room and grabbed her things, putting on her coat, hat, and gloves. She slipped on her shoes and then looked at Sora. "Ready?" she asked.

 

Sora looked over at Kairi and nod softly. "Yup, let's go."

 

Kairi smiled slightly and opened the door, feeling the cool air touch her face.

 

Sora stood behind Kairi at the door, shuddering when the frigid air hit his face.

 

Kairi glanced over her shoulder at Sora and smiled slightly as she stepped out the door, stepping into the winter air.

 

Sora returned Kairi's smile and followed her outside, closing the door behind him.

 

Kairi walked forward a few steps and stopped, looking at the snow. They definitely got some inches overnight. But thankfully the roads were clear so they could walk. Kairi looked behind her and offered her hand to Sora.

 

Sora smiled softly and walked forward, gently slipping his hand into Kairi's.

 

Kairi smiled softly and started walking, her hand with Sora's. Considering what she needed to get what his gift, she didn't know how she'd prepare it with him there. But she'd rather have Sora walking with her than walking alone.

 

Sora smiled softly and walked alongside Kairi, thinking. He still needed to get her gift, and since Roxas lived so close by, maybe he could stop in and get it. AFTER, he wished Roxas a Merry Christmas, of course.

 

Kairi felt the cold air touch her face as she walked. It was nice to be out in the fresh air, but because it was so cold, it wasn't the best. But it was a really nice day, and she'd accept that.

 

"Hey, can I ask you something?" Sora asked, glancing down at her as he spoke.

 

Kairi turned her head and looked at him. "Yeah, of course."

 

"While you're getting your stuff together at your house, would you mind if I walked over to Roxas' house? I want to wish him a Merry Christmas and stuff." Sora explained.

 

Kairi smiled softly. "That's fine." That'd give her time to get his present.

 

"You're sure?" Sora pressed, making sure that she really didn't mind.

 

"Mm-hm," Kairi said with a nod. "You haven't seen him in a while. He probably wants to see you."

 

Sora smiled down at Kairi and gently squeezed her hand. "You're the best, you know that?" He looked down at her lovingly, a grin on his face.

 

Kairi smiled, feeling heat rise to her cheeks. A small giggle escaped her as she looked away, but then she met Sora's eyes again. That was really sweet.
