KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora grinned. "You did, but it's alright. I scared you last night, so now we're even!"

 

Kairi nodded, revealing her pearly whites. She walked over and sat down beside Sora. She looked down at her hands and then flitted her eyes to his blue, smiling.

 

Sora's smile widened when he looked into Kairi's beautiful violet blue eyes. It seemed like she was in a really good mood today.

 

"Merry Christmas," Kairi said softly as she gazed at Sora's eyes.

 

"Merry Christmas," Sora respond quietly, still smiling as he stared into her eyes.

 

Kairi's smile grew slightly. Sora seemed better than he was yesterday, which made her happier in a way.

 

Sora heard a shimmering noise above their heads and looked up curiously. What?! When had a mistletoe been there? He never put one up there; and it was right above their heads. Sora smirked inwardly. Santa must have left some of his Christmas magic.

 

Kairi looked up and she giggled softly, a smile growing on her lips. A mistletoe, and it just now appeared above their heads. Her smile grew when she thought of Santa.

 

Sora stared at the mistletoe, his mouth hanging open a tiny bit. His eyes were wide and full of happiness.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes to Sora, and she smiled inwardly at his face. He was happy again.

 

Sora lowered his head and gave Kairi a small, somewhat awkward smile. "Uh, well..." his eyes dart up to the mistletoe again.

 

Kairi chuckled softly. Sora obviously hadn't expected it either, and she knew then it was Santa who was responsible for the mistletoe above them.

 

Sora's eyes lit up at her quiet laughter. He smiled and leaned over, kissing her gently on her lips.

 

Kairi's eyes closed when he kissed her, and she brought a hand up to his cheek as she savored the kiss.

 

Sora smiled inwardly when she kissed him back. And then, when she put her hand on his cheek, it felt as if electricity surgered through his body. But in a good way, this time. Not like at the hospital. This touch had love and care. Sora gently lift up a hand and set it on Kairi's cheek.

 

Kairi was thankful for this moment; it felt like they were together again. The events last night made her feel as if she and Sora were growing farther apart from each other. But now that she was kissing him, she felt different; she felt like they weren't apart anymore, and instead they were closer.

 

The kiss continued as Sora gently stroked Kairi's cheek with his thumb. Sora loved the kiss, but it wasn't only that which was making him happy. He was so glad that he and Kairi were close again. Last night had been tough, but together, they could move forward. He just knew they could.

 

Kairi's heart fluttered slightly at Sora's touch. This moment was making her happy again, and she felt tears start to form in her eyes. She was a little overwhelmed, but the tears were golden, out of joy and relief. She felt one escape her closed eye and slide down her cheek as she kissed Sora and moved her hand to the side of his neck lightly.

 

Sora's heart leapt into his chest when Kairi moved her hand onto his neck. He smiled inwardly, so glad that things were finally okay again. No, things were better than okay. They were great.

 

Kairi felt another tear run down her cheek from her eye as she continued to kiss Sora. She loved the kiss, but she loved Sora more.
