KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora noticed when the pictures were taken out of hands, but he didn't move at all. He let his hands shift as the pictures slid out of his grasp.

 

Kairi grabbed the box on the couch and set it down on the floor next to the couch.

 

Sora quietly let out a breath through his nose, some part of him feeling Kairi's presence in the room.

 

Kairi looked up at Sora and bit her lip. "Sora," she said very softly. She hated waking him up, but if he was going to go to sleep, especially with a bad arm, she wanted him to sleep somewhere more comfortable.

 

"Mmmm?" Sora murmed in his half awake state, having heard his name spoken very quietly.

 

"Do you want to go lay down in your bed?" Kairi asked softly. She bit her lip as she looked at him.

 

"What?" Sora asked softly, not really awake and understanding the situation.

 

"Do you want to go to bed?" Kairi repeated, a little louder this time. Sora must've been really out of it.

 

Sora shift and brought up his hands to rub his eyes as he tried to wake up from his short nap.

 

Kairi stood up straight when Sora leaned forward. She started to wonder exactly when he had fallen asleep.

 

Sora rose to his feet, slowly. When he was up on his feet, he stretch a little bit. "I think I'll get in the shower first." Sora said aloud, feeling really tired but wanting to be clean.

 

"Oh, all right," Kairi said with a nod. She could understand that one.

 

"Do you mind being alone for a little while?" Sora asked kindly.

 

Kairi shook her head. "No. You do what you have to. I'll be fine." She smiled faintly.

 

"Okay." Sora gave her a small smile and stood there for a moment before walking down the hall towards his room.

 

When Sora left the room, Kairi decided to take a seat on the couch. She sighed softly and leaned against the arm of the furniture. Her shower hadn't helped her exhaustion. Her muscles had relaxed and now she felt like she would pass out.

 

Sora walked into his room and reached into his drawer and took out his night clothes before entering the bathroom and shutting the door.

 

Kairi stared at the Christmas tree. She had no idea what time it was anymore, considering her cell phone was in the guest bedroom where she'd put her clothes once she got out of the shower. It had to have been around midnight, because it was somewhere in the eleventh hour when she'd gotten ready to leave.

 

Sora quickly undressed and climbed into the shower, anxious to get rid of the filth that stuck to his skin and made his hair so greasy. He turned on the hot water and let out a sigh when it hit his tense body.

 

Kairi bit her lip. Hopefully she could get Sora's gift from her house in the morning, if the roads were cleared off. She didn't want to give it to him late.
