KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora leaned down and picked up the box of pictures and moved them onto the couch. He would feel much more comfortable sorting through them there than he would on the floor. He sighed softly and sat down beside the box. Back to work, I guess. Sora thought as he picked up a stack of pictures.

 

Kairi started the water and began to undress. She felt disgusting; her hair was flat and greasy, and she didn't feel clean at all. She knew she'd feel a lot better after her shower.

 

Sora flipped through the stack of pictures, but there weren't many that caught his eye. They were actually mostly of Roxas and Namine, and Sora was only in one of the pictures. Well, Sora's hand, anyway.

 

Kairi stepped into the shower, relaxing when she felt the hot water hit her skin. She started to wet her hair under the shower head, brushing it back with her hands.

 

Sora put down the stack and silently picked up another, labelled "Winter in NYC." He was pretty sure that it was from last year.

 

Kairi giggled slightly when the picture came back to her mind. She wished she could go back to that time, just so she could remember what it was that had been so funny. She shook her head slightly as she grabbed the shampoo bottle and squeezed some into her palm.

 

The first picture in the stack was of Sora and Kairi, just walking through the park together, Sora smiling at Kairi and Kairi looking like she was laughing. Sora smiled faintly at the picture, wishing he could make her smile like that more often.

 

Kairi ran the shampoo through her hair, glad to finally be cleaning her red locks.

 

Sora blinked and let himself feel distracted for a moment when he suddenly realized how tired he was. He wasn't used to be up late or being active for so long. Well, not anymore, anyway. He used to be so active, but all he had been doing lately was lying around. It would take a while for him to get used to being up and moving again.

 

After rinsing out the shampoo, Kairi grabbed the soap and started to cleanse. She started to feel better, but the hot water only relaxed her muscles, so she started to feel exhausted.

 

Sora sighed softly and shut his eyes, leaning his head against the side of the couch.

 

Kairi washed all of the soap off and put her face under the water, running her hands across her face. Then she shut it off and grabbed the towel.

 

Sora opened his eyes halfway, blinking once. I'll just rest for a minute...he thought as he started to doze off.

 

Kairi dried herself off and rang out her hair before putting on the clothes Sora lent her. She put on the pants and smiled in humor. They were a little big, and a little long, but she rolled them a few times around the waist and they were fine. She threw on the T-shirt of his and flipped her hair out of it. She rolled the short sleeves like she did with her school uniform. She breathed in through her nose slowly, and she smelt Sora's scent, smiling softly. She grabbed the towel and ran it through her hair again before just running her fingers through her locks. She felt so much more refreshed.

 

Sora blinked again and slowly let his eyes close. He took in a deep breath and quietly let it back out.

 

Kairi walked out of the bathroom and down the hall to the living room, running her hands through her wet hair as she did so.

 

Sora was tired, but for some reason, he really did not want to sleep. Both sides were fighting each other inside his mind, and he was actually half asleep now.

 

Kairi walked into the living room and smiled softly when she saw Sora on the couch. He must've been exhausted, because she knew she was.

 

Sora let out a quiet, tired sigh as he sat there on the couch, half asleep. The pictures still rest in his hands.

 

Kairi silently walked over to him at the couch. Noticing the pictures, she slowly and gently took them out of Sora's hands and set them back in the box.
