KH- Fast Food Madness!

"It's alright," Sora reassured her, keeping a small smile on his face as he looked her in the eye.

 

"You're sure?" Kairi asked, biting her lip.

 

"Of course," Sora smiled.

 

Kairi nodded. "Alright... You already made the hot chocolate, so I won't leave just yet." It was getting late, but she'd be fine.

 

"Oh yeah." Sora turned around and mixed the chocolate into their drinks. He had completely forgotten about them for a few moments.

 

Kairi smiled slightly and then looked down at her feet. She wanted to stay with Sora for the night, but she knew that going home, doing what she had to do, and coming back would take too much time.

 

"Here you go," Sora slowly turned around and handed Kairi a cup of hot chocolate.

 

"Thanks," Kairi said with a small smile. She took the cup from his hand and wrapped her hands around it. She could feel the steam coming from it and it felt good on her colder skin.

 

Sora smiled and turned back around as he put both hands on his cup, letting out a small sigh as he did. The warmth really helped him, since he still wasn't feeling quite right from earlier that night.

 

Kairi slowly brought the cup to her lips and sipped only a tiny bit. It was hot, but not too bad. It felt good going down her throat.

 

Sora brought it up closer to his face and inhaled the chocolately scent, smiling faintly. He had always loved hot chocolate--it was practically the only thing he drank in the mornings during the winter.

 

Kairi smiled slightly. The memory of that one afternoon in the city with Sora, Riku, Roxas, and Namine flooded her mind as she looked at her cup of hot chocolate. She had shared hers with Sora.

 

Sora brought the cup up to his lips and swallowed some hot chocolate. Heat flood through his throat and into the rest of his body, making him feel a lot more relaxed. His body begged for more heat, and he provided it with a few more sips of hot chocolate.

 

Kairi took another drink of her hot chocolate. Once she swallowed it and it soothed her throat, she looked over at Sora. "This is good," she said with a smile on her face. "Thanks."

 

Sora lowered his cup and smiled at Kairi. "Sure."

 

Kairi smiled slightly and then brought her cup back to her lips, sipping it before it got cold.

 

Sora continued drinking his hot chocolate until it was dry, slightly disapointed when it was all gone. He still felt a little cold.

 

Kairi drank the rest of her hot chocolate until she only had a little bit left. She must've been really thirsty.

 

Sora set down his cup and raised a hand to his mouth when he suddenly sneezed.

 

Kairi jumped in shock when she heard Sora sneeze. She had gotten so lost in the silence that she got scared when he sneezed. She started laughing at herself softly.
