KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora raised an eyebrow at the next picture. He didn't remember anyone taking a picture of him and Kairi running into the ocean together at sunset. It looked like it would fit straight into a romantic movie or something.

 

Kairi's eyes widened slightly. That was an unexpected one. Namine must've taken the picture, or maybe it had been Roxas fiddling with the camera. She didn't know, but she did know that that picture had obviously been one of the moments she wasn't expecting to remember.

 

Sora blinked and bit his lip, tears flooding to his eyes. Why couldn't he be that boy anymore?

 

Kairi looked down at her lap. She really wished she could go back to that day. Having fun, enjoying herself with good company. She bit down on her lip to stop any sadness from showing on her features.

 

Sora shook his head slightly. No. Thoughts like that weren't going to help him now. He had to focus on looking at the future, not the past.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes to the Christmas tree. Its beauty stood out in the room, and she wished that the beauty in her life would stand out somehow.

 

After looking through, so many pictures, Sora's heart felt a little bit lighter. But he did feel like he needed a break from all this. He grunt softly and rose to his feet, stretching. It was then that he remembered why he never sat on the ground for long periods of time. He smiled faintly.

 

Kairi turned her head and looked up at Sora, who was now a lot taller than her when he was standing up. She hoped he was okay.

 

Sora started to stretch out his right arm, but he immediatly regret it. He must have strained it even more with the events earlier that evening. He put his arm back to his side and casually put a hand on his wound. "Are you thirsty?" Sora asked, looking down at Kairi. "I have some hot chocolate mix in the kitchen."

 

Kairi nodded. "Sure."

 

"Okay," Sora smiled softly and offered Kairi a hand.

 

The corners of Kairi's lips turned upward and she looked at his hand. She put her own hand in Sora's, and started to stand up.

 

Sora's eyes followed Kairi as she rose to her feet.

 

Kairi bit her lip to keep herself from wincing because of the stiffness in her legs. After standing up straight and the pain subsided, she smiled softly at Sora.

 

Sora smiled softly and moved his hand behind her back, gently running his hands over the fabric of her shirt.

 

Kairi's smile grew slightly as she gazed at Sora, her violet-blue eyes meeting his blue.

 

Sora smiled as he looked into Kairi's eyes. "I don't think I'm completely hopeless," he state, feeling happy again at that moment.

 

Kairi nodded slightly. "Good," she replied softly, her smile still on her face. Something like that was what she was looking to hear, and Sora's smile was something she missed, and glad to see.

 

Sora leaned over and lightly kissed Kairi on top of her hair. As he withdrew, he brought up a hand and ruffled her hair. "Let's go get some hot chocolate," he grinned.

 

Kairi chuckled. "Alright," she agreed with a smile on her face. She automatically brought her hands to her hair and ran them through her red locks.
