KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora shut his eyes and leaned back into the sofa, sighing softly. He wasn't tired physically...just emotionally.

 

Kairi leaned leaned forward and put her fingers through her hair as she rested her elbows on her knees. She tried, at least.

 

"Just to let you know, I'm not mad at you." Sora spoke without opening his eyes. "What you said was true. I don't blame you for saying any of it."

 

"That doesn't take away the guilt, though," Kairi said, keeping her position.

 

Sora stayed silent. He really didn't have anything to add to that. "Sometimes the truth just hurts." He said aloud.

 

Kairi nodded. "It does..." She looked up at the tree and one sentence ran through her mind. "I guess some things really are better left unsaid."

 

Sora nod once. "Maybe." He said slowly.

OOC: Ugh, I'm being kicked off the computer. Bye.

 

Kairi didn't say anything, staying silent as she looked at the tree.

OOC: Okay. See you later.

 

Sora leaned forward again. With his elbows resting on his knees, he placed his head in his hands as he looked down at the floor. He bit his lip as the horrible memories from earlier that night came back to haunt him.

 

Kairi turned her head and saw Sora up next to her now. She looked away though, deciding to let him think in peace.

 

Kairi had said that by acting like this, it proved at he was different. And no matter how badly it had hurt to hear that, it was the truth.

 

Kairi bit her lip and tucked her red hair behind her ear. As much as she was wanting this to be a good Christmas, things weren't going to turn out that way. Unless, of course, someone granted her wish: Happiness.

 

Sora had to act like he did before, but how? He didn't even remember how to do that. If he only had something to jog his memory...

 

Kairi continued to nibble her bottom lip as she thought about what she had said. Gosh, she shouldn't have said that. That'd only hurt Sora more, and it was a bad decision. She wished she could go back in time and fix this mess.

 

Sora suddenly lift his head up and stared at the picture of him and his friends at the park. He looked so happy then...why was that?

 

Kairi started to wonder if things were going to get better. From her grandmother's words, they would. Her grandmother was very wise, and had very good advice to speak, even when Kairi was too little to actually understood them. Did her grandmother know what her future held in store for her? Did she have hope in Kairi?

 

Sora slowly stood up from the couch, ignoring the pain that shot through his wound as he walked up to the picture. He gently grabbed it and held it in his hands, studying it carefully.

 

Kairi followed him with her eyes, but looked away and studied the floor under her feet. She took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly, leaning her head in her hands, her fingers in her hair again. It'd get better soon.

 

Sora looked into the eyes of the boy in the picture and saw something he had forgotten. He gasped sharply when he realized what the old Sora had that he didn't.

 

Kairi looked up suddenly, her eyes alarmed when they fell on Sora.
