KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi sighed softly, the only sound in the room. "What are you thinking about?" she asked as her eyes stayed closed, breaking the silence.

 

"Probably the same thing you are," Sora said softly, gazing at the tree with half opened eyes.

 

"You wish you could go back to when it was easier too, huh?" Kairi opened her eyes and kept her head against the chair, looking over at him.

 

Sora nod once. "Yeah." He put simply as he continued to think. So much had happened, but if he could go back, would he? He had gotten stronger lately...hadn't he? Was this change so horrible?

 

Kairi didn't say anything, only keeping her eyes on Sora. She figured something like that was bothering him too. But it was so much easier then, and it was hard to even think of moving forward after everything that had happened in the past couple of weeks. She looked down at the floor, not really wanting to go there again.

 

"But it'll be alright." Sora said, looking over at Kairi. "Someday, everything will be okay again."

 

Kairi smiled faintly as she met his eyes. "Someday."

 

Sora nod and smiled faintly before turning his attention back to the tree.

 

Kairi looked down at her lap when Sora looked away. She wished she could say something that could comfort him more. She missed his smile, his trademark smile.

Sora sighed softly and shut his eyes. He never had finished his thought from earlier. Could he cope with the change? He knew the answer. Yes. As long as Kairi was there with him, he could handle anything.

OOC: Okay, bye.

 

Kairi kept her eyes on her jeans as she nibbled on her lip. She wished that she could just get inside Sora's head for once, understand what it was that was bothering him. She hated seeing him down, and that's all he had been these days. Kairi wanted one thing: happiness. She couldn't ask for change; there had been too much of that. Happiness, that's what she wanted for Christmas.

 

Sora rose to his feet, smiling faintly at the tree. He wouldn't let this Christmas Eve be ruined by serious thoughts like that. But...how would he make it interesting? He really didn't have any ideas at all.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes to Sora when she caught him standing up out of the corner of her eye. Curiosity came across her face, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she went back to nibbling her lip and messing with her fingernails.

 

Sora shift his eyes to the floor, his momentary happiness disapearing. He really did want to make today special, but he had no ideas, and that reminded him of how much he had changed over the past few weeks. He sighed softly and shut his eyes.

 

Kairi got a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach suddenly, and she looked up. Something was wrong. And another problem was the last thing she or Sora needed. Kairi put her feet to the floor and pushed herself up from the chair. A curious look on her features, mixed with concern, she walked over and now stood next to Sora. "Hey, what is it?" she asked softly.

 

Sora opened his eyes a crack and looked over at Kairi. "Nothing," he said softly, shaking his head a little bit as he spoke.

 

Kairi gazed at him, her eyes full of curiosity and concern. They'd made a promise to tell each other the truth from now on, no more walls. "Sora. C'mon, talk to me," Kairi encouraged. She wanted to help him.

 

"I just..." Sora started off softly and trailed off, shaking his head again. He didn't know what to say really. How could he put his emotion into words?

 

Kairi's expression changed to sadness. "You're...upset, aren't you?" She bit her bottom lip as she kept her eyes on Sora.

 

Sora nod once, keeping his head down and his eyes gazing at the carpet. "Yeah," he answered quietly.
