KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi looked up, watching the snow fall for a second before switching her gaze to the path in front of her. She could hear her feet crunch on the snow covering the ground.

 

Sora turned his head and slowed his walk. "We're here," he said softly, motioning towards his house with his head.

 

Kairi smiled with a nod. He was home at last.

 

Sora held onto Kairi's hand as he began walking up towards his front door.

 

Kairi scanned the outside of the house as they approached the front door. It seemed that Sora was already prepared for Christmas. She didn't know how she didn't notice it when she came to get his things earlier.

 

When they made it to the door, Sora gently took back his arm and reached into his pocket, trying to feel around for his house key.

 

Kairi crossed her arms over her chest. It was getting colder as it got later out here.

 

Sora's hand finally found his key. He pulled it out of his pocket and shakily put it in the keyhole.

 

Kairi watched Sora, and noticed his shaking hand. She arched a brow slightly, but relaxed it. He was probably just cold. Gosh, she worried too much.

 

Sora turned the key and heard the door unlock. He smiled faintly and turned the knob, opening the door.

 

Kairi bit her lip as he opened the door, noticing the dark room inside. She glanced behind her randomly, watching as a car drove by.

 

Sora reached a hand inside and turned on a light switch, the living room now clearly lit. "Come on in," he encouraged as he quickly walked inside.

 

Kairi turned her head sharply at his voice, and then nodded. She walked in after him, shutting the front door behind her. Turning around to face the living room, she saw the holiday decorations and the very green Christmas tree. She smiled slightly. Sora was well prepared for the season.

 

Sora rubbed his hand against his pants as he tried to warm up. He hurriedly walked over to the thermostat and turned on the heat. He was still shivering from the cold.

 

Kairi slipped off her shoes and took off her winter accessories. Taking off her coat and draping it over her arm, she walked into the living room and stopped at the Christmas tree, smiling at how nicely decorated it was.

 

Sora turned back into the living room and saw Kairi smiling at the tree. "You can turn on the lights, if you want to." Sora told her. "The plug is right by the outlet."

 

"Alright." Kairi bent down, picking up the plug. She placed it into the wall outlet and saw the lights come on from the corner of her eye. She leaned back and smiled softly, admiring the tree. "Good job, Sora."

 

"Oh, thanks." Sora said as he starting taking off his coat. He smiled at the tree in admiration of its beautiful lights and decorations.

 

Kairi turned her head and smiled at Sora. She looked back at the tree, noticing something missing. She arched a brow. "No presents?"

 

Sora shook his head, smiling faintly. "No, I wait until Christmas morning and then I put all my presents out." He explained. He didn't know why he kept up with that tradition, but still, he didn't want to give it up either.
