KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi let a faint smile come across her lips. After everything that'd happened, she was glad he was finally here, outside, in the fresh air again.

 

Sora opened his eyes and reached for her hand and held it tightly in his. "Let's go home," he said, faintly smiling.

 

Kairi smiled and nodded. Finally, after all this time, they were leaving together.

 

Sora turned his eyes toward the road and silently began to walk.

 

As they walked, Kairi put her free hand on his arm, rubbing it lightly as she looked at the streets, cars passing by, people walking past them. She loved having Sora here with her this time.

 

Sora smiled down at Kairi as they continued to walk on the snow covered sidewalk. Sora shivered a little, the cold air hitting his open skin with bitter coldness.

 

Kairi returned Sora's smile, squeezing his hand. As they walked by a store, she heard a familiar tune. She softly started humming along to "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

 

Walking on that sidewalk, Sora couldn't help but let his eyes wander. Not really because of fascination with the Christmas lights, but because he wanted to be sure that nothing else would go wrong.

 

Kairi watched the cars pass her by as they traveled along the city's streets. Her eyes flitted to the opposite side of the street, where she saw places decorated with Christmas lights. Her vocals continued to hum the song she heard playing a few seconds ago.

 

Sora sighed softly as he heard Kairi's humming. She was so at ease, and that was helping him relax too. He began to feel a little bit less worried and started to really enjoy the New York nighttime sights.

 

Kairi smiled softly as she looked ahead. She loved this time of year, and because Sora was next to her right now, she loved it a little more.

 

Sora looked up, straight ahead. Only a few more blocks and he would finally be home. He couldn't wait to be at home again and relax.

 

Kairi leaned against Sora slightly at they walked, being sure not to put too much of her weight against him. She rubbed his arm again, watching her feet as she walked, her hair blowing past her shoulders from underneath her hat.

 

Sora blinked in surprise, but a smile soon found its place on his face. He continued to walk, supporting Kairi as well as himself.

 

Kairi blinked and shook her head when a snowflake got in her eye. She wiped underneath her eye and then giggled when one tickled her nose.

 

Sora felt himself melt away when he heard her giggle. He loved that laugh so, so much. He would do anything to hear it again.

 

Kairi smiled lightly while they walked. She loved this time of the year.

 

Sora smiled and looked up at the sky, blinking as one snowflake landed in his eye.

 

The sounds of the city faded slightly as they got closer to Sora's house. It was quieter now, more peaceful.

 

Sora looked down at the ground and saw a cold appear as he breathed out his mouth.
