KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Mm-hm," Kairi said with a nod. She got up and walked toward the door. "Be back in a sec." She opened the door and started down the hall to find Sora's doctor.

 

Sora stared after Kairi with a confused look on his face. Where was she going? Was she just going for a walk or something?

 

Kairi started down the hall and smiled at the nurse that had helped her earlier, who was still in the same hall. The doctor had to be around somewhere.

 

The doctor exit a room and saw Kairi walking towards him. Since she didn't seem frantic at all, he assumed that Sora was awake. He gave her a small smile and walked towards her.

 

"He just woke up," Kairi stated when she approached the doctor, a smile on her face.

 

The doctor nod once. "Alright. Let's go see how he's doing and get him out of here." He smiled at Kairi and walked towards Sora's room.

 

Kairi grinned happily, walking behind him as she followed him to the room.

 

The doctor entered the room and smiled widely at Sora. "Hello, Sora. How are you feeling?" He asked as he approached the teen.

Sora was momentarily confused, but he kept that hidden as he answered the question. "Good." He answered with a small smile.

 

Kairi walked in behind the doctor, a grin on her face. She couldn't hide her excitement.

 

"Do you feel well enough to stand?" The doctor asked, setting his clipboard down on the end table.

Sora nod. "Yeah..." he said slowly, not sure if he was actually supposed to stand up or not.

"Could you stand up for me? Slowly. I don't want you to hurt your shoulder." He explained.

 

Kairi stood at the foot of the bed, calmly watching, even though her smile was still on her face.

 

"Sure," Sora answered, trying to keep his excitement to a minimum. He had no idea what this meant, and it was better not to jump to conclusions. Sora sat up and slid his feet off the side of the bed. He slowly rose to his feet, noticing that Kairi and the doctor were watching him intently.

 

Kairi bit her lip as she watched, wanting to hear he was ready to go. She wanted to desperately see Sora smile again. His cheery smile.

 

The doctor nod once and looked at Sora. "How does that feel?"

"Not bad," Sora answered. "It feels a little weird in my shoulder, a little pain at first, but nothing too bad."

"Do you feel dizzy at all? Sick?"

"No." Sora answered, speaking truthfully.

 

As she waited, Kairi turned her head to look outside. It was dark, but there weren't any snowflakes in sight. She knew there was snow on the ground though. She turned her attention back to the two people before her.

 

"Do you feel alright to leave?" The doctor asked Sora, looking him in the eye.

"You mean..." Sora trailed off, his hope rising.

"That's right." The doctor smiled. "You're healthy enough to go home. However, I do have a few conditions..."

Sora's smile faded a little. "What are they?" Sora asked, a little frightened.

 

Kairi smiled softly. She was glad that the doctor's words were spoken, even though he did have rules.

OOC: Ugh! I have to go. =( I'll be on tomorrow. Bye.

 

"First of all, you'll need to wear a sling. Like I said before, wear it all times, except for at night."

"Alright." Sora agreed.

"Secondly, take it easy. Don't move around too much or do anything too tough."

"Okay..."

"Be sure to take your medicine..."

"Of course," Sora agreed. That one was obvious.

The doctor paused for the last one. "I also want someone to stay at your house and watch over you. Honestly, this would make me feel more at ease.

Sora bit his lip and looked to the ground. Who could possibly do that...?

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

Silence. Kairi decided to break it. "I'll do it," she said, walking forward to them both. She didn't have any problem helping Sora out. "...That is, of course, if Sora wants me to."

 

Sora looked up at Kairi, shaking his head a little. "I couldn't possibly ask you to make that kind of sacrifice for me..."
