KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi opened her eyes and looked down at him. She smiled faintly and nodded once.

 

Sora smiled wider. "I'm feeling better already," he said, trying to get that worried expression on Kairi's face to completely vanish.

 

"Really?" Kairi asked softly. Her smile grew just a little bit at that news.

 

"Really." Sora smiled at her faintly and shut his eyes for a moment, resting.

 

Kairi's lips spread a little. She was glad to be hearing that.

 

Sora sighed softly, shifting a little in his bed. Because of the lingering pain, he really wanted to move around and try to get rid of it, but he had to trust that the medicine was working.

 

Kairi tightened her grip slightly around his hand. Sora had to be patient, and so did she. They'd be out of here soon enough. Or at least she hoped.

 

Sora opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling, taking in a deep breath and letting it out as a sigh. He finally felt back to normal. It felt like he had waited for ages, but still, at least he was okay now.

 

Kairi rubbed her thumb against the back of Sora's hand. All that mattered was that he wasn't in pain. She'd stay here with him until he was out.

 

Sora smiled softly and shift his eyes to Kairi.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes from the floor to Sora's face. She smiled when she found him looking at her too.

 

Sora smiled and let out a small laugh. He couldn't really think of any reason why he had laughed, but it did feel like some of the tension filling the room broke down.

 

Kairi's smile grew, revealing her teeth somewhat as she looked down at Sora. It was apparent that he was feeling better, and that only made her smile stay on her face.

 

Sora smiled and sat up in the bed as he gazed deeply into Kairi's violet blue eyes.

 

Kairi's eyes stayed glued to Sora's. It was then that she felt heat rising to her cheeks. She looked down shyly, blushing, before looking back up to meet his eyes again.

 

Sora smiled as he felt his own cheeks turning red at the sight of Kairi. He raised his hand and gently ran it overtop of her hair.

 

Kairi smiled softly at his touch. She felt chills go down her spine from his gentle touch.

 

Sora slowly took back his arm and let it fall back to his side. He shut his eyes halfway as he leaned back into the pillows a little more, feeling tired from the excitement.

 

Kairi smiled and bit her lip slightly, looking back down at her hand in Sora's. She started rubbing it again with her thumb lightly.

 

Sora smiled faintly, keeping his eyes halfway shut. "Thank you," he murmered softly.
