KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi sighed. To have to walk in that would be a mess...

OOC: Yeah, I'm a noob when it comes to snow and streets in New York. Bare with me. xDD

 

Sora began to worry. What if Kairi did have to get a taxi to get home and the roads were still this bad? It was almost 7 o' clock, and the air was getting colder outside. Ice would definitly cover the roads soon.

 

Kairi bit her lip as she looked up at the sky. It was dark and dull, snow flailing from the clouds that were invisible this late at night.

 

Sora almost suggest that she stay for the night, but he didn't want that. First of all, she wouldn't have a comfortable place to sleep. And secondly, he knew that she hated this place just as much as he did.

 

Kairi switched her gaze to the roads again, looking for a snowplow to show up. It was New York City--many people were out at night, despite the weather. Wouldn't there be some cars out on the roads at night? Especially taxis? She let that thought vanish from her mind as she turned her head to look down the other street.

 

Sora shut his eyes and turned his head so it was facing the ceiling. He really wished he could see what it was like out there, but Kairi would be upset if he moved even to the window.

 

Kairi sighed sadly when she didn't see one and turned around, walking back to the chair next to Sora's bed. If she had to walk, she had to walk. Stuff happens for a reason.

 

Sora frowned and took in a breath. Maybe he could sit up for just a second and see what the city was like.

 

Kairi sat down in her seat, looking back at the window. She exhaled in a frustrated manner, making her bangs float up from her breath.

 

Sora opened his eyes and bent his arms as he used them to sit up. He was really curious to see what it was like out there.

 

Kairi's attention turned to Sora as she watched him carefully. She didn't want him to hurt himself again.

 

Sora couldn't see out the window; the chairs were in the way. He let out a quiet breath as he shift his legs off the side of the bed.

 

"Sora, what are you doing?" Kairi asked. She really didn't want him to stay in here longer...

 

"Just looking out the window," Sora answered, slowly rising to his feet.

 

Kairi watched him, her eyes narrowed slightly in alert. If he hurt himself again...

 

Sora stretched a little, fully upright. His chest only hurt a little bit as he looked out the window. "Wow," he breathed, finally understanding what Kairi meant when she said the roads were covered.

 

"Walking in that will be a mess." Kairi watched him from behind, making sure he didn't use his arm or anything that would keep him in here longer.

 

Sora nod once in agreement. "Yeah," he said carefully. Was Kairi really going to walk home in this?

 

Kairi crossed her legs and arms and stared at one of her knees. Even though it was going to be nasty outside, she told Sora she'd sleep at home. She wasn't going to break that promise. He was only caring about her and concerned.

 

Sora stood there, looking for a snowplow. Why weren't the roads being cleaned?
