KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi smiled softly, pulling her hand back and resting it on her hip. "It was nice. I actually dreampt about last winter."

 

Sora nod a little. "Yeah, you were smiling in your sleep." He smiled softly up at her.

 

"Was I?" Kairi smiled. "Hm. It was a nice memory. It actually felt like I was re-living it."

 

"What exactly was it?" Sora asked curiously.

 

"That time we were in Central Park with Namine and Roxas and they started throwing snowballs at us. We got into a snowball fight and then I stuffed snow down Roxas's shirt after he did it to you," Kairi explained, chuckling at the end. "And then Namine and I made snow angels, and then you and Roxas came sliding in, making me laugh hysterically." Kairi grinned.

 

Sora smiled widely. "I remember that. That day was so much fun!"

 

Kairi nodded with a smile. "Yeah, it was. That was probably one of the funnest days of my life."

 

"When we get out of here, we're going to have more days like that." Sora promised, smiling up at Kairi.

 

Kairi grinned, revealing her pearly whites. "Glad to hear it. Days like that make life fun."

 

Sora smiled in agreement. Those days were hard to come by anymore, but pretty soon, everything would be alright again.

 

Kairi smiled down at him, ecstatic that she got to see his smile again. It took her breath away every time she saw it. She was hoping for a lot more of those as soon as he was able to leave. And hopefully that would be sometime tomorrow.

 

Sora turned his eyes toward the window, his eyes dancing with laughter and happiness as he watched the snow fall down even harder than before.

 

Kairi turned halfway around, looking over her shoulder at the window. "Wow, it's really snowing out there. I hope it doesn't get too bad." She bit her lip as she thought about there being a blizzard.

 

Sora shook his head, smiling a little. "You can never have too much snow," he said happily.

 

Kairi smiled. "Yeah..." She curiously walked to the window and peered outside. Her eyes widened. "Geez. The roads are covered."

 

"Really?" Sora asked curiously, wishing he could sit up and see for himself.

 

Kairi nodded. "Yeah..." She bit her lip. "I hope I don't have to walk home..."

 

"Do you need money for a taxi?" Sora asked, watching Kairi. "I think I have some money in my wallet."

 

Kairi turned and shook her head. "No, no. It's okay, I have some. I just hope a snowplow comes along."

 

Sora nodded. "Yeah." He wondered why the snow was sticking so much if they had salted the streets. Or...at least they should have done that. Why wouldn't they have? The roads were dangerous enough when they weren't covered in ice.
