KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi smiled slightly in her sleep, feeling someone's presence but too deep in her sleep to really recognize it.

 

Sora shut his eyes as he lay on his back, smiling faintly. He was proud of himself for not getting caught. Normally, whenever he did something he wasn't supposed to do, he was caught in the act. But today it hadn't happened.

 

Kairi shifted slightly in her sleep. Her hand grabbed the blanket and pulled it closer to her face and over her shoulders tighter.

 

Sora sighed softly as he rest, regaining some of his strength. It hadn't hurt too much to move around, so the medicine must have been working. He smiled softly. Maybe he could get out even earlier. It was a long shot, but still, he could at least hope.

 

Kairi sighed softly in her slumber, a hint of a smile on the corners of her lips.

 

Sora opened his eyes and turned to look out the window. It was dark out...but how? He turned his head and looked at the clock. It was almost 6 o'clock. That explained why it was so dark out.

 

Kairi opened her eyes sleepily, blinking a few times to adjust to the lighting. She looked down at the weight on her and realized that there was a blanket over her. She rubbed her eyes as she tried to wake up.

 

Sora shut his eyes again and took in a breath as he turned his head back towards the window.

 

Kairi pulled her arms out from underneath the blanket and looked over at Sora. She had a feeling he was the one who gave her the blanket, and she smiled softly. He was sweet. She yawned quietly and ran a hand through her hair.

 

Sora slowly exhaled, the pain in his chest and arm dimming as he released the breath.

 

Kairi straightened out her legs, wincing at the stiffness in her them. She sighed softly in a content manner as she looked out the window, seeing snow fall harder now.

 

Sora smiled faintly. He was glad that Kairi was getting rest now, but she probably wouldn't sleep too well tonight. Oh well, at least she would spend the night at home. He would make sure of that.

 

Kairi slowly got up from her chair, and made sure to do it quietly. She walked around the bed quietly and went over to the window, stretching her stiff legs. She needed to stand for a while. Kairi suddenly thought of how Sora felt, having to lie in that bed for countless hours. He had to be stiff as a board. She tucked her hair behind her ear and crossed her arms as she stood there, staring out the window into the dark night.

 

Sora opened his eyes and blinked when he saw Kairi standing there. He smiled faintly. "Hey," he greeted her softly, looking over at her with bright blue eyes.

 

Kairi turned her head at the voice, a soft, polite smile spreading along her lips as she looked at Sora's blue eyes. "Hey," she said softly back. "How are you feeling?" she asked as she walked over to him.

 

"Pretty good," Sora answered, smiling up at Kairi.

 

"Good," she said, her smile widening. Kairi gently ran her fingertips along his forehead, rubbing it lightly.

 

Sora smiled and kept his eyes on Kairi.

 

"Did you enjoy your rest?" Kairi asked, gently brushing his hair out of his eyes.

 

"Mmhmm," Sora answered. "How was yours?"
