KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi's smile widened. She was glad he was going to be home for Christmas, and be out in general.

 

"This place can get pretty boring after a while," Sora laughed.

 

"Mm-hm," Kairi agreed with a nod. "It doesn't matter, though. As long as you're okay."

 

Sora smiled. "I can't wait to get out of here."

 

"Neither can I," Kairi said. She was ready for him to actually live again, instead of lying here in bed.

 

Sora kept a smile on even as the bad factors came back to his mind. Not being able to move freely stunk, but still, he didn't mind it much as long as he could be at home again.

 

Kairi kept her hand on his and looked out the window. It was lightly snowing again, which didn't really surprise her.

 

Sora followed Kairi's gaze to the window. He felt another burst of happiness when he saw the snow falling again. "It looks like it'll be a white Christmas," He observed cheerfully.

 

"Yeah," Kairi agreed, a hint of happiness in her voice. "I've always wanted one."

 

Sora smiled wider. "Me too," he put in as he continued to watch the snow fall down.

 

Kairi smiled softly as she continued to gaze out the window. She suddenly had the urge to have a snowball fight like when she was a kid. Those were always fun. But she didn't think she could do that this year, unfortunately.

 

Sora smiled as he thought back to an event that had happened last year. He, Kairi, Roxas and Namine had been in Central Park, when Roxas suddenly started a snowball fight. So of course, two teams were naturally formed--Roxas and Namine vs Sora and Kairi. Sora had faced off against Roxas and Kairi and Namine had faced each other. And then when Roxas had tackled Sora and stuffed snow down his shirt, Kairi and ran up and done the same to Roxas. Sora had laughed so hard at Roxas' face after that had happened.

 

Kairi remembered a lot of other Christmas experiences, and was glad she had them. They were some of the nicest and funnest moments she had. A small smile made its way across her face as she reminisced.

 

By the end of that fight, all four of them were soaked and freezing cold, but they all were laughing so hard that it didn't matter. He wished that they could have had more days like that this year, but that one unfortunate day had started this and made it impossible. Sora's smile faded a little at that thought.

 

Kairi remembered one time they'd gone to Central Park and started having a snowball fight. She'd paired up with Sora, of course, and after a few minutes Roxas had run over and stuffed snow down Sora's shirt. She remembered doing the same to Roxas for payback and laughing hysterically at his face after it. Even though they were soaked after that, she remembered that she and Namine laid down in the snow and started making Snow Angels. She remembered drawing a halo around hers after she was done and laughing when Sora and Roxas slid across them after tackling each other. They'd smeared the angels, but she was dying laughing anyway. That day had been one of the funnest in her life.

 

And then when Sora and Roxas had rolled around in the snow, fighting each other...Sora sighed happily at the memory. That day was so much fun.

Kairi smiled. She missed those days.

Sora made a decision. He wasn't going to let one bad memory be more important than the good ones. That would ruin his life if he lived like that.

 

Kairi watched as the snow started to fall a little harder and faster. She wondered if they were going to have a blizzard or something, because it was getting a little nasty out there.

 

Sora took a break from watching the snowfall and shut his eyes.
