KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi took off her coat and put it on the chair next to Sora's bed. She started walking toward him. "Hey," she greeted, her gloves and hat still on.

 

Sora turned around and smiled. "Hey," He greeted Kairi.

 

"How are you feeling?" she asked as she sat down beside him, starting to take her gloves off.

 

"Okay," Sora answered, curious about why she was wearing her gloves and hat but not saying a word.

 

Kairi nodded and pulled off her glove as she stared out the window. "It's chilly out there." She pulled off her hat and ran a hand through her hair.

 

Sora nod once and turned to look out the window. "Yeah, it looks kind of nasty out." He stated softly.

 

Kairi nodded. "It's getting there," she said. She sighed and stared outside as last-minute shoppers scurried along the sidewalks.

 

Sora stayed silent and watched the outside world.

 

Kairi looked over at him. "You okay?" she asked, putting her hand on his knee.

 

Sora nod. "Mmhmm," he answered, turning to look at Kairi. "Why do you ask?"

 

Kairi shrugged. "You just seem really quiet."

 

"Oh," Sora looked down at her hand and then gazed at her face again. He gave her a small smile.

 

Kairi smiled back and pat his knee before leaning back in her chair.

 

Sora shift his eyes towards the window again.

 

Kairi bit her lip as she stared out the window again. She started to wonder if what the doctor said was true and that Sora would get out of here tomorrow.

 

Sora leaned back in his chair slowly, not moving his right arm even an inch. It still hurt from moving it earlier.

 

Kairi kept her eyes on a snow-covered building. "Anything happen while I was gone?" she asked.

 

Sora shook his head. "Nope, everything has been pretty boring," he answered.

 

"I see..." Kairi wondered why Sora's doctor hadn't been in today.

 

Sora nod once and lightly grabbed his sore arm with his left hand.
