"Yeah, of course." Roxas smiled. It was for Kairi, of course.

Kairi went into a few more stores, but still couldn't find the right gift for Sora. She was starting to become hopeless.

 

"Thanks," Sora said gratefully into the phone.

 

"Sure thing. Hope to see you soon," Roxas said, getting ready to hang up.

Kairi looked up and saw a sign in front of one of the stores. She walked in curiously, seeing only a few people inside. She walked over to the guy's section and saw unique wristbands, rings, necklaces, and other jewelry.

 

"Yeah," Sora said into the cell phone. "See ya."

 

Roxas hung up the phone and put it back in his pocket as he went to get his coat.

Kairi saw a few meanings she liked, but none of them were right. She was starting to get disappointed.

 

Sora hung up the phone and put it back on its spot on the endtable.

 

Roxas walked out of his house into the chilly weather and started for the jewelry store.

Kairi bit her lip as she tried to find the right one. The right thing just didn't seem to be here... Just when she was about to give her hopes up, she found it.

 

Sora slid his feet off the edge of the bed as he looked out the window.

OOC: Be back in a few minutes (hopefully)

 

OOC: Okay.

Kairi smiled widely when she found it. She stared at it happily, picturing it on him.

 

Sora rose to his feet, carefully stretching. Gosh, he felt so stiff after lying in that hospital bed for such a long time.

 

Kairi stared at the ring the clerk had given her to hold. It was a silver Celtic Love Knot ring with the perfect design. She read the meaning of the ring. "With no beginning and no end, this Celtic Love knot ring represents infinity and the unending love that binds two people." Kairi smiled and fell in love with it immediately. "I'll take it," Kairi confirmed and handed it to the clerk.

Sora looked down at his right arm. Did he dare try and move it again? Or would it only hurt even more?

 

OOC: Yay! I was hoping for a reaction like that, and hopefully from Sora too. ;D

Kairi didn't mind the cost of it; it was too perfect to pass by. She walked out of the store with a smile on her face, happy she finally found the perfect gift for Sora. She had a feeling he'd love it. Now she just needed to drop it off at home.

Roxas entered the store a few blocks from Sora's house and went up to the clerk. He told them he had a pick-up order for Sora and the clerk went to the back to pick it up.

Sora slowly lift up his right arm to see how much he could move it. He lift it up a little bit, but he couldn't use it too much because of the pain. He sighed sadly.

The clerk came back and handed the box to Roxas and he left the store. He headed back home.

Kairi called a taxi so she could get home and make it back to the hospital faster. After a few moments, she told the driver to wait as she got out of the car. She ran to her doorstep and ran inside, running up to her room and putting the gift in her endtable drawer. She ran back downstairs and locked the front door as she went outside, climbing in the cab as it drove her back to the hospital.

 

Sora took a few steps and sat down in one of the chairs by the window. He let out a quiet sigh as he rub his arm.

 

Kairi thanked and payed the driver as she exited the car and headed into the hospital. She walked into the entrance, unwrapping her scarf from around her neck. She went into the elevator and pushed the second floor button.

 

Sora gave up and just left his right arm stay at his side. No matter how much he rubbed it, the pain wasn't going to go away right away. He just had to be patient and remember not to do that again anytime soon.

 

Kairi exited the elevator and walked down the hall to Sora's room. She opened the door and walked in, shutting it behind her quietly.

 

Sora put his left arm up on the table and rest his chin on his hand as he gazed outside. He was very bored.
