KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi remembered what things had been like the first time she arrived. Sora had been the first person she'd seen, and she knew that the feeling she had back then meant something. She hadn't known what it was, but she realized that he was a big part of her life.

 

Sora sighed softly. He didn't want to sleep-that's all he had been doing lately. But he couldn't stay awake too well either, and it was really getting frustrating.

 

Kairi flitted her violet-blue eyes up to the boy who meant so much to her. She smiled slightly as he rested. She was glad he was relaxing.

 

Sora slowly let out a breath, almost asleep.

 

Kairi stood up quietly and leaned forward, kissing him gently on the forehead.

 

A small smile spread across Sora's face when he felt Kairi's gentle kiss.

 

Kairi smiled softly and ran her hand lightly over his forehead. She sat back down quietly and looked at him, watching him fall to unconciousness slowly.

 

Sora's smile stayed on his face as he fell asleep once again.

 

Kairi smiled softly at Sora's even breathing and then looked out the window. She was starting to wonder if she should go look for his gift now. She already had an idea of what she wanted to get him.

 

Sora sighed softly and shift his head a little, trying to get more comfortable on the hard, hospital pillows.

 

Kairi'd wait a few minutes to make sure he was asleep before leaving.

 

Sora's breathing stayed even despite the fact that his slumber was not very deep.

 

Kairi tapped her fingers on the arm of the chair silently to a tune stuck in her head.

 

Sora smiled inwardly, feeling great now that he was resting again. He started hoping that he would be able to go home for Christmas. If he was feeling this good now, then maybe he would be allowed to go.

 

Kairi looked at Sora, trying to see if he was deep enough in his sleep that she could leave for a little while. She'd come back, of course, after browsing around for a bit.

 

Sora mentally wondered if he would miss anything while he was napping. He doubt he could miss much more than he already had, considering how much he had slept lately.

 

Kairi bit her lip. She'd wait until eleven. It was 10:54.

 

Sora also considered how bored Kairi must have been, sitting by his bed while he slept. He wished he would have told her earlier that she could come and go as she pleases and not worry about a thing.

 

Even though it wasn't eleven o' clock yet, Kairi stood up and put on her winter accessories anyway. After getting her gloves and hat on, she took her coat off the chair and put it on. After fixing it and flipping her hair out from under it, she looked over at Sora. She hoped he didn't mind that she left for a little while.

 

In fact, it would have been better for him to tell her that so he could have a moment to call Roxas about picking up her gift.
