KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Oh." Sora remembered back to how upset he had been. He didn't want Kairi to know that though, it would make her sadder. "It's alright. I haven't been completely honest this whole time either." He admit sadly.

 

Kairi shook her head, at both her own lies and the fact that he mentioned he wasn't being honest either. "I saw the look on your face; you were upset. And I'm sorry."

 

"It's okay," Sora said again. He looked up at her with a small smile. "But from now on, let's both promise to be completely honest about everything. Deal?"

 

Kairi smiled slightly and nodded. "Deal."

 

Sora turned his head again and rest it against the back of the chair, shutting his eyes halfway as he gazed out the window again.

 

"Do you want to sleep?" Kairi asked, leaning forward in her chair slightly.

 

"What time is it?" Sora asked as he shut his eyes completely.

 

Kairi looked at the wall at the clock. "10:30."

 

"Mmmm," Sora said sleepily, turning his head as he kept his eyes closed.

 

Kairi stood up and smiled sadly at how tired he looked. "You better get back in bed."

 

He nodded once. "You're probably right," Sora said as he groggily rose up from his seat, grabbing onto it with his left hand to steady himself.

 

Kairi rubbed his shoulder lightly. He needed the rest.

 

Sora smiled slightly as he slowly made his way to the bed and lay down on the mattress he had grown to dislike. He rest his head on the pillow and shut his eyes again.

 

Kairi went over to his bedside. She leaned down and kissed his forehead. She rubbed his head lightly. "I'll see you in the morning, okay?"

 

Sora smiled at Kairi's promise. "Okay, see you then." He whispered.

 

Kairi smiled and then walked away. She left the room quietly and started for the first floor. She'd go home and sleep like she promised.

 

Sora turned his head, snuggling to get more comfortable in the hospital bed. After a few moments, he was fast asleep.

 

Kairi signed out at the front desk and walked out of the hospital. She shivered when the cool breeze hit her skin. She was definitely not dressed for weather like this. Kairi hurried across the street and called for a taxi. One pulled over and she got in, the driver taking her home. She arrived at her house after what felt like forever and thanked the driver before walking up to her doorstep. She unlocked the door with a key from under the doormat and walked inside. She remembered that night her and Sora had to leave her house to escape the cops. They searched the house and that was the last time she had been here. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair as she went up to her room. She crashed onto her bed, not even bothering to change her clothes before she fell asleep in the comfort of her own bed.

Kairi opened her eyes slowly, a tired groan escaping her. She rubbed her eyes and sat up groggily. She looked out her window and noticed more snow on the ground. She was going to have to dress warmer when she went to see Sora. Her head turned automatically to her alarm clock. 9:57 A.M. She stood up and went to take a shower.
