KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora looked up at the window and gently led Kairi over to the two chairs that sat right there. He wouldn't admit it, but he was tired after standing for a little while.

Kairi didn't object to sitting down. She placed herself in the chair next to him and looked out the window as snow started to lightly fall again.

 

Sora gingerly lowered himself into a chair as he looked out the window. He felt a small spark of happiness when he saw the snow start falling again.

 

Kairi watched the snow fall lightly down onto the streets. She loved the winter for the snow and Holidays. It was always a happy time of year. But she started to wonder if that was going to be false this year, unless Sora really did get out on Christmas Eve.

 

Sora let his eyes fall on the falling snow, follow them until they fell out of sight. His doctor never had told him when he could get out of here, and now that he knew that Kairi was out, he wanted to get out too, as much for her as himself.

 

Kairi tucked her hair behind her ear as the memories from the previous winters came back. She wished things could be like that again.

 

Sora shut his eyes and leaned his head on the back of his chair quietly. He let out a quiet breath.

 

Kairi kept her eyes on the snow falling from the sky. "What are you thinking about?" she asked softly, breaking the silence.

 

Sora opened his eyes a little. "I'm thinking about what the holidays will possibly feel like this year." He said softly.

 

"..And?" Kairi urged. She was curious.

 

Sora shook his head a little. "Just in general, not really anything specificly." He explained quietly.

 

"Oh," Kairi replied softly. She bit her lip as she looked at the dark sky. Christmas was only three days away... Hopefully Sora would be better, and if what the doctor said was true, he should be.

 

"Do you want to talk now or later?" Sora asked softly as he looked out the window. There was so much unsaid between the two of them, and he wanted to try and talk before Christmas. He didn't want any walls between them.

 

Kairi turned her head and looked at him. "What do you mean?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

 

"About everything that's happened lately." Sora said as he kept his eyes locked on the snowfall outside.

 

Kairi kept her expression on her face. "You mean..." she started slowly, "stuff like the doctor coming back and all that?"

 

Sora nodded once. "Yeah."

 

Kairi nodded. "Okay. Well, what about it exactly?"

 

"When I came back to your room before, it was empty. And when I turned around, he was there. Where were you guys, anyway?" Sora asked curiously. He had been wondering that for some time now.

 

Kairi bit her lip at that memory. "We were trying to find you, to warn you about the doctor being back..."
