KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora brought up his good arm and gently put his hand on Kairi's cheek. He lightly stroked it with his thumb.

 

Kairi stared into his blue eyes as she smiled softly, bringing her hand up to his on her cheek.

 

Sora lowered his head slightly and put his lips on hers as he lightly kissed her.

 

Kairi gladly kissed Sora back, her hand moving to his cheek.

 

Sora shut his eyes and savored the kiss. He hadn't felt this close to Kairi in a while, and it felt good to have her here with him again.

 

As she kissed him, Kairi enjoyed the moment while it was among them. She didn't want to be anywhere else or with anyone other than the person she loved most.

 

Sora backed away slowly, smiling softly. He turned his body so he could stand next to Kairi, looking out the window. Slowly, he put his left arm around her shoulders.

 

Kairi put her head against his good shoulder and smiled as she looked out the window at the now colorful streets of New York. She was glad she was here with him.

 

Sora let a small smile stay on his face as he looked out at New York City. The streets were still full of excitement, even with the snow and night covering the city.

 

Kairi looked up at him. "I'm not going to leave you here alone, Sora. I'm going to stay with you until you get out, okay?" She didn't care if it was Christmas Day or not when he was still in here. She was still going to be beside him.

 

Sora felt his smile fade as he looked down at Kairi. He shook his head a little as he spoke. "No, I don't want you to be locked up in here too." He told her.

 

"I've been in here for a while anyway. What's a few more days or so going to do?" She bit her lip. Kairi knew he cared, but she didn't want him to be here alone.

 

Sora used his hand to brush a strand of hair out of her face. He didn't really know how to respond. He wanted Kairi with him, but he wanted her to be at home even more. "I want you to go home, though." He smiled softly at her. "It's a lot nicer than this place."

 

Kairi shook her head slightly. "Not when you're not there," she admitted.

 

"Kairi..." He said softly, trailing off. That was one of the sweetest things he had ever heard.

 

Kairi stared into his blue eyes. It was true; wherever she was and he wasn't, she hated it. Whenever she wasn't with him, she wanted to be. And if she went home now, she'd only come back in a few hours.

 

He let out a quiet sigh as he put his hand back at his side. "At least promise me you'll go home to sleep tonight." He knew that the hospital chairs were really uncomfortable, and if she was going to force herself to be with him, he at least wanted to be sure that she was in good health and caught up on her sleep.

 

Kairi nodded. "I promise." She'd try, at least. For him.

 

"Thanks." He reached out and held her hand in his.

 

Kairi linked her fingers with his and smiled softly, nodding. She'd do what he asked as long as it made it easier for him while he was here.
