KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora wondered if there was anyway he could talk to Kairi. There was a phone right next to his bed, but of course it was on his right side, and he couldn't use that arm too well. And he didn't have the energy to reach over with his other. He sighed softly, frustrated.

 

Kairi sighed softly. Only a little while longer...

 

Sora continued his train of thought. Why had the fake doctor come back, anyway? Keeping him hostage once wasn't enough? Apparently not. Revenge drove people to do crazy things. The real question was...how had he come back?

 

Kairi stared at the sky outside the window. She suddenly remembered that Roxas had left a long time ago, and he made it seem like he was only going to be gone for a little while. She rolled her eyes. That boy was confusing sometimes.

 

Sora shook his head, chasing the thoughts away. Maybe some things were better left unknown.

 

Kairi closed her eyes as she started to relax. The silence was peaceful, but a part of her, a big part, wanted Sora there.

 

Sora tilt his head and looked out the window. He noticed that the snow had stopped falling.

 

Kairi wondered what Sora was doing right now. He was probably thinking things over too. She sighed again, looking at the floor next to her bed.

 

The door opened and a woman in uniform walked in. "Hello, Sora. I'm agent Walker. How are you feeling?"

Sora looked over at the officer, a little sceptical. He had learned not to like police. "I'm alright..."

 

Kairi drummed her fingers that weren't tucked under the pillow against her mattress boredly.

 

She sat down in a chair by Sora's bed. "You do know that you're no longer wanted, right?" She asked as she looked at the boy.

Sora nodded. He had forgotten until that very moment. He didn't remember how he knew, but he had heard it somewhere before.

"So, would you mind telling me your side of the story?" Agent Walker request as she took out a tape recorder.

Sora nodded and began to tell his story.

 

Kairi started humming a tune, drumming her fingers to the beat. She might as well entertain herself to the best of her ability.

 

After 20 minutes of talking, Sora's story was finally finished. The robbery, the jail (which he had changed up a little bit), running away, and finally ending up where he was today.

"Amazing..." The agent mumbled. "There's just one thing I don't understand..."

"What's that?" Sora asked curiously.

"I don't understand why the imposter would BEG to be taken to jail."

"I think I scared him." Sora stated. When he had cast reflect to block that bullet, he must have freaked the guy out so much that he wanted to guarentee that he would never see Sora again. "I mean, what kind of a kid would survive 2 heart attacks and a stab wound?"

 

Kairi opened her eyes. She must've dozed off for a bit. She yawned and stretched, wincing a bit from her stomach wound. It didn't hurt as much, but it stung when she reached up too far.

 

Agent Walker rose to her feet and shut off the tape recorder. "Well, Sora. Thanks for your testimony." She smiled and reached out her hand. "Good luck as you continue on the road to recovery."

Sora returned her smile and shook her hand. "Thanks." She let go of his hand and began to exit. "Oh, wait, what's today's date?" He asked her.

"December 22nd," She answered before leaving Sora alone in his room.

 

Kairi sighed and leaned into her pillow. She was tired again...

 

December 22nd. Sora smiled a little as he shut his eyes. Kairi would probably be able to get out of here soon.

 

Kairi let out a small, soft sigh before drifting to unconciousness.

 

Sora snort out his nose. He was really tired after all that talking. He sighed and quickly fell asleep.
