KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora turned the knob and pushed the door open. He peeked his head inside and smiled at Kairi and Roxas. "Hey." He greeted his friends with a smile.

 

Roxas looked up, a confused expression on his features. How did Kairi--?

Kairi turned her head to the door and smiled. "Hey."

 

Sora walked into the room and sat down in one of the chairs by Kairi's bed. He grabbed her hand and smiled as he looked into her beautiful blue eyes.

 

Kairi smiled softly back at him, glad he was with her. "Feeling any better?"

 

He smiled softly. "A little. How about you?"

 

Kairi nodded. "Better. It still hurts a little."

Roxas was still a little confused. They must've gone through something he didn't understand.

 

"Do you want me to go get a doctor for more medicine?" Sora asked Kairi softly as he stroked her hand with his thumb gently.

 

Kairi shook her head politely. "No, it's okay."

 

Sora smiled softly. "Alright."

 

"I wouldn't want them to send you back to your room," Kairi admitted softly. Even if their rooms were right next to each other, she didn't want him to leave her side.

 

Sora looked at her with a twinkle in his eye. "I know. But hey, at least I could get away for a little bit." He smiled at Kairi.

 

Kairi smiled softly in agreement. She was happy he was here.

Roxas waved. "I'll be back in a little while." He walked out the door.

Kairi glanced at Roxas but quickly looked back at Sora.

 

Sora chuckled softly after Roxas was gone. "Was it just me, or did he seem kind of weirded out by something?"

 

Kairi giggled. "I noticed it, too. I think he found it strange how I knew you were awake."

 

A confused look appeared on Sora's face. "What'd you tell him?" He asked curiously.

 

"Nothing," Kairi said quickly. "I just told him that you weren't asleep anymore." She kept her eyes on his expression.

 

"Ah." Sora smiled and looked out the window as he watched the snow fall.

 

Kairi kept her eyes on him, noticing how content he looked when he looked outside. Sora seemed at ease when he looked at the snow. She smiled slightly.

 

Sora had always loved the snow, especially after he had been there with his friends and met Santa Claus for the first time. He smiled at the memory. And now, it was almost Christmas again. He hoped that he and Kairi would both be able to be at their homes for the holiday.

 

Kairi's eyes softened when she saw the smile on his face. She turned her head to the window and watched the snow fall heavily.
