KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora turned his head and saw a door of Light appearing to his left. He smiled at Kairi and put his hand on hers. "Now, let's get out of here."

 

Kairi nodded happily, intertwining her fingers in his.

 

Sora slowly lift himself to his feet, still weak but getting a little stronger with each passing moment.

OOC: I gotta go for tonight, sorry =(

 

Kairi stood up next to him and stared at the white door in front of them. She was so thankful to finally be getting out of here, especially with Sora by her side. That made it so much better.

OOC: It's okay. See you soon. =)

 

Sora turned his head and smiled at Kairi before starting to walk into the door.

 

Kairi stared at the door as she walked beside Sora. Where would they end up after this? She kept her eyes locked on the door as they approached it, and blinked when it started to open. Kairi looked into the white light that shown before her.

 

Sora took in a deep breath and walked through, holding Kairi's hand tightly.

 

As she stepped through, the last thing she saw was the blinding white light that seemed so comforting to her, and the last thing she felt being Sora's gentle squeeze on her hand.

Kairi took in a soft breath, opening her eyes slowly. She closed them immediately due to the brightness of the room she was in. Blinking and squinting, she opened them fully and saw the white wall in front of her and her body on the bed. Kairi sighed softly in relief, happy to finally be awake.

 

Sora blinked several times and sighed with relief when he saw that he was back in his hospital room. He smiled and shut his eyes happily. It was over.

OOC: Ugh, gotta get off for now-I'll be back in about an hour.

 

OOC: Alright.

Kairi turned her head and saw Roxas at the window, his head lowered. "..Roxas," she whispered.

Roxas lifted his head at the soft voice, his eyes wide. He gasped, a smile on his face as he got up and ran to her bedside. "Kairi! Hey!" he said happily. "You're awake!"

She smiled softly and nodded once.

 

Sora sighed and slowly lift himself into a sitting position. He winced when his chest rang out in pain. He turned his head toward the window and saw that the snow was really falling hard now.

 

"Are you okay?" Roxas asked.

Kairi nodded. "Yeah." She saw something falling behind him. Her eyes narrowed. "Is that...snow?"

Roxas turned halfway around. "Yep. It's been like that for hours now."

"Oh." Kairi sighed and looked at the ceiling, sinking into her pillow. "Have you seen Sora lately?"

"I was in his room a little while ago. Why?"

"Just checking," she said simply.

 

Sora turned and slid his feet off the side of his bed. He moved carefully so he wouldn't hurt himself worse as he kept his eyes on the window. There was just something about snow that made him really happy.

 

"How long was I out for?" Kairi asked.

Roxas scratched his head. "A good nine hours."

Kairi sighed. She figured as much.

 

Sora rose to his feet and looked at the door. Maybe this time he could make it next door. At least, he hoped he could. He was worried he would collapse if he walked too far, but still, he really wanted to see Kairi.

 

"Sora fell asleep just recently," Roxas mentioned as he looked at her. "When I went over to see him he was out."

Kairi smiled softly and shook her head. "He's not asleep anymore..."

 

Sora took in a deep breath and slowly walked towards the door, trying to block out the dizziness he felt. He put a hand on the doorknob and paused before opening it.

 

Roxas arched an eyebrow. "What?"

Kairi smiled softly and didn't say anything.

 

Sora walked out the door and took a few steps towards Kairi's room. He was glad he wasn't attracting any attention from the doctors or nurses. He smiled softly and put his hand on the doorknob to Kairi's room.

 

Roxas was confused. What did she mean? And how did she know he was awake, if he even was awake?

Kairi saw the look on his face. "Roxas, just trust me."
