KH- Fast Food Madness!

He silently rose to his feet and swung the keyblade through the air. "But this fight isn't over yet."

 

Kairi stood up after him. "What do you mean?" she asked, wiping away her tears and sniffling.

 

Sora pointed to his left. Darkness was rising up in the distance. He simply stared and watched as it grew stronger.

 

Kairi followed his point, her eyes widening in fear when she saw it. Her lips parted slightly as she watched the Darkness grow.

 

Sora swung his keyblade again, feeling up to full strength. He had a battle to fight. "Stay here, I'll be back." He promised.

 

Kairi turned her head quickly to him. She looked at him; there was something different about him, something she couldn't quite figure out. He seemed different somehow. A million thoughts went through her mind at once, and she got too confused to even say anything. All she knew was that he was going to leave again, and she wanted to shed a tear because of it.

 

"I promise," he said softly as he walked towards the darkness.

 

Kairi took a step forward. "Wait!"

 

Sora stopped and turned around, looking at Kairi now.

 

She quickly approached him. Kairi met his blue eyes and she felt the tears about to come. She didn't want that to be the last memory of her that he had before he went off. Kairi reached up and put her hand to his cheek, putting her lips to his.

 

Sora gently put his hand on Kairi's cheek and kissed her back. After a moment, he backed away and looked her in the eye. He put his hands on her shoulders and spoke softly. "This isn't goodbye." He smiled softly.

 

Kairi nodded with a small smile of her own, tears rimming her eyes as she stared at him. She'd believe him with all her heart.

 

Sora turned his head when he heard a roar in the distance. He gave Kairi one last smile before running off towards the darkness.

 

Kairi took a small step forward and stopped, watching him go. A tear escaped her eye as she saw him take every step away from her. He'd be back. He promised.

 

Sora summoned his keyblade as he ran, keeping his eyes locked on his heartless self. He finally understood what was going on. He knew what he needed to do to defeat this. He yelled as he jumped into the air and slammed down onto the heartless with his keyblade.

 

Kairi looked down to her feet, watching as a tear fell from her face and landed on her shoe. She bit her lip as she closed her eyes.

 

Sora was thrown off the heartless, but he landed securly on his feet. He stared at the AntiSora. "I know what you are." He told it firmly. "And I'm not afraid of you anymore." He pointed the keyblade at the monster. "This is the last time you try to steal my heart!"

 

Kairi exhaled a shaky breath as another tear slid down her cheek.

 

The heartless screamed and threw itself at Sora. Sora didn't budge as the creature bounced off an invisible shield. "Without fear, you're powerless!" Sora told it after the attack had failed. He smiled faintly into those yellow, hatred filled eyes.

 

Kairi lifted her head, stern eyes gazing the way he left.
