KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora looked around and noticed something black rising out of the ground. 'Oh no, not again.' He thought as he watched the thing rise up. It was anti-Sora. He instinctively pushed Kairi behind him and summoned the kingdom key.

Kairi peeked over his shoulder and gasped. "Is that...you?" she asked, alarmed.

 

Sora didn't respond. It wasn't really him, but his darkness. But he didn't have time to explain while those beastly yellow eyes stared at him. "Kairi, run." He ordered as he pointed his weapon at the heartless.

 

"...Sora," she said slowly, but sadly. It'd break her heart to leave him again. Kairi hesitated, staring at the back of his head with sad eyes.

 

"It's too dangerous, you need to get away." He explained, trying to keep his voice calm. Deep inside though, his fear was growing rapidly. How was the monster back? He didn't understand.

 

"Be careful," Kairi said softly, sadly. She didn't want to leave him, but she had to do as he asked. It was what he wanted. Kairi backed up a few steps, still keeping her eyes on him for those last few seconds. She glanced at the creature and then at Sora one more time before turning and running away, back the way they came.

 

Sora was glad when he heard Kairi running away. He stared daggers at the thing. With a yell, he pounced, aiming the keyblade at the thing's head. The weapon bounced off his the heartless without dazing the creature. Sora grit his teeth in frustration.

Kairi wasn't that far, and she knew it when she heard Sora holler. She turned around quickly, stopping dead in her tracks. The cry had alarmed her. His voice echoed in the darkness, but he was doing what was right. And she knew that, no matter how much she cared for him.

Roxas was back in Kairi's room after using the restroom. He sat in the chair next to the window, waiting for her to wake up or to get news that Sora had too. His head jerked up from its lowered position when he heard Kairi's heart monitor jump. His eyes were wide as he stared at her blank face. What was she going through?

 

Sora did a backflip to avoid being hit by the heartless. He quickly put up his keyblade just in time to block another hit directed towards his face.

 

Kairi couldn't see him, but could hear the action that had started. Her heart rate increased a little from hearing the sounds from the Keyblade and Sora, and impact. She didn't know if she was far enough away. Should she keep running?

 

The heartless suddenly vanished, but Sora wasn't fooled he remembered this trick from before. He stood still and let his eyes wander. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the thing appear behind him. He sidestepped and attacked as the shadow let his guard down.

 

Kairi didn't like the feeling in her stomach. It was one of fear and sadness, a blend of the two. She bit her lip and turned back around, running again to get farther away.

 

Sora let out a cry as AntiSora's keyblade ran across his stomach. He stepped back a few steps and grabbed his stomach in pain.

 

Kairi glanced over her shoulder and skidded to a halt when she heard that cry. It sent chills up her spine, and not in a good way. It horrified her to hear him in pain.

 

"GET BACK!" Sora screamed, enraged. He charged at the heartless full force and prepared to slice him with a powerful combo.

 

Kairi jumped slightly when his voice came out of nowhere in the dark silence. She couldn't see him anymore, but just hearing the battle made her uncomfortable. She stayed where she was, staring into her black surroundings.

 

The effect of the combo was devastating. For Sora, not the heartless. The keyblade bounced off the exterior with such force that Sora let out a sharp cry as he felt his arm turn backward and the keyblade fall out of his hand. It flew so far away he couldn't even see it anymore. While he was focusing on that, the AntiSora jumped onto him and hit him over the head with its dark keyblade. Sora grunt as his world began to blur.

 

Kairi head something clatter against the ground in front of her in the darkness. There was a noise that sounded like something sliding against the ground and she blinked when she saw it in front of her. His...Keyblade?

 

Sora grunt and rolled out of the way of another attack. He jumped to his feet quickly so he could avoid a deadly blow from the heartless. There was no way he could beat this thing! He was running out of options, and he was already way outmatched.

 

Kairi looked into the blackness, seeing nothing, but hearing everything. It scared her, and her eyes immediately fell on the Keyblade. For some reason he hadn't summoned it back. Her legs carried her to the weapon without her even thinking about it and she picked it up. A tingling feeling went up her arm while the weapon was within her grasp. Kairi's eyes traveled along the Keyblade, Sora's weapon that he'd traveled so far with, killed so many enemies with. It felt weird to even hold it in her grasp. Kairi stared up at the Darkness, a stern look on his face.
