KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora opened his eyes and squint at the brightness of the light. Now he could see a few feet in front of him. But he still couldn't see Kairi. He sighed softly and lowered the charm a little. He was probably imagining things...

 

Kairi was practically sprinting now as the light lowered slightly. She was getting closer.

 

Sora shut his eyes, feeling hopeless. He had light-great. But that meant nothing to him if Kairi wasn't really there.

 

The light grew bigger as she got closer. Kairi kept her pace, her heart racing. She was closer now, and she could make out a form. As she approached it, she saw the spiky hair. "Sora!"

 

Sora opened his eyes and lift his head. He hadn't been imagining it! He couldn't see her, but he could hear her much better now. "Kairi!" The charm suddenly exploded with a bright white light. He grunt a little and instinctively covered his eyes.

 

"Huh?!" She skidded to a halt again, turning her head away and covering her eyes from the light.

 

Sora kept his eyes covered until he had noticed the light fading. He opened them up and gasped when he finally saw her. "Kairi."

 

Kairi dropped her hands and looked forward when she heard him. There he was. "Sora..." She ran forward to him.

 

Sora ran forward towards her, meeting her halfway. When they had met, he immediatly wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "Kairi..."

 

Kairi threw her arms around him and held him tightly. "Sora," she said, her voice shaky. She was so relieved that he was here.

 

"Where...are we?" He questioned, looking around the empty area.

 

Kairi shook her head in his shoulder. "I don't know..." she answered.

 

Sora slowly released her and reached for her hand. "Let's get out of her," he told her, looking her in the eye.

 

Kairi met his gaze and nodded in agreement, holding his hand. Even though she had no idea where they were, she knew that they could make it out together.

 

Sora nodded and began to walk. This place was strangely familiar. It wasn't all darkness anymore- it was more of a grayish white. Maybe it was his heart...

 

Kairi walked alongside him while holding his hand in hers. She was so relieved she wasn't alone. She studied her surroundings. "Was this what it was like when you were here?" she asked. She had a feeling it was different somehow.

 

"Like when I was where?" Sora asked, making sure that she really was thinking the same thing that he was.

 

Kairi looked over at him. "Here, unconcious. Is it your heart or mine?" she asked.

 

Sora shook his head a little. "My heart was kind of like this, but it was a little brighter when the charm exploded in light before." He turned to Kairi. "I doubt this is your heart; you don't have any darkness inside you."

 

Kairi met his eye. Then where were they exactly? If they were in Sora's heart, why was it a strange grey, and how was she here with him?
