Sora offered her a small smile as he calmed down. "I'm fine now." He said shakily.

 

Kairi continued to stare him, her blue eyes darting back and forth to one of his. He didn't seem all right.

 

Sora shut his eyes and gulped in some more air. What had just happened? Had he won the fight?

 

Kairi stared at him, a little scared. Even though he was awake again, what happened to him must have been terrifying.

 

Sora opened his eyes again and relaxed, feeling like his heart was getting back to its normal pace. He gave Kairi a reassuring smile.

 

Kairi returned the smile. "You okay?"

OOC: I gotta go. See you later.

 

"I'm fine." He smiled.

OOC: Okay, bye.

 

Kairi returned his smile, relieved. She was glad he was all right.

 

Sora relaxed into his pillows a little bit. At least now he was wide awake.

 

Kairi sighed quietly. She could relax a little more now that he was awake.

 

Sora kept his eyes open. There was no way he was going to let himself fall back asleep again any time soon.

 

Kairi looked Sora in the eyes, relief on her features. She was so happy that he was okay, for now at least. As long as he was awake, she was okay too. A knock was heard on the door and she turned her head.

The doctor entered the room. "Kairi, I have your medicine for your head pa--" The doctor looked up and stopped.

Kairi's eyes widened when she stared at the doctor. Sora was in here! He didn't know about them!

"Oh, I apologize," the doctor said as he adjusted his glasses. "Shall I come back later?"

Kairi turned her head away and stared at her feet hanging over the bed, lowering her head in shame. That was supposed to be kept secret; she didn't want to worry Sora, but the doctor had entered loud enough that he now knew about it. She heard the door shut and knew that the doctor was gone, for now. He'd be back later to give the medicine to her. Kairi kept her eyes on her sneakers that were touching the floor as she sat on Sora's hospital bed, silence overtaking her as she waited for Sora's reaction.

 

Kairi still wasn't feeling good? Why didn't she tell him? "Kairi," Sora said softly, keeping his eyes turned towards the window, "Why did you try and hide this from me?"

 

Kairi kept her eyes on her shoes. She stayed silent, not really knowing what to say.

 

Sora stayed silent and wait for an answer. He gazed out the window. He saw snowflakes fall from the sky. As much as he loved snow, he couldn't enjoy it. Not when he was in a place like this.

 

Kairi bit her lip, knowing that she had to give her reason for keeping this from him. "I...didn't want you to worry..." she said softly.

 

Sora shook his head a little. "You should have told me," he said quietly.

 

Kairi looked up at him. "You were going through enough! What, with your coma and everything. I couldn't mention it without making it worse for you."

 

Sora finally turned his head and looked over at her. "I don't care about any of that." He turned away and sighed a little. "You shouldn't have kept something that serious from me." He said softly.

 

Kairi stared him sadly. "...I'm sorry," she apolgized softly, biting her lip.
