KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora kept his eyes downcast. "Whatever it was, it was pretty scary." Sora said so softly he wasn't sure Kairi would be able to hear him.

Kairi looked back up at him. "What?" she asked. She couldn't quite hear him.

 

Sora shook his head a little. "Nothing."

 

Kairi nodded once and kept her eyes on him. "You are feeling better now, aren't you?" If he needed anything, she'd go get the doctor.

 

Sora was glad that she had abandoned the topic of his coma for a moment. "A little bit." He gave her a weak smile.

 

"Do you need anything? I could go get the doctor. He probably wants to know that you're awake anyway," Kairi said, motioning towards the door.

 

Sora shook his head a little. "No, I'll be fine." He shut his eyes tiredly.

 

Kairi didn't say anything, believing him. She looked at him, studying his face. He looked really tired. "Um...I'll let you rest, okay?" she said as she pat his hand.

 

Sora bit his lip. He didn't want to sleep. He was afraid that if he did, he'd fall into a coma again.

 

Kairi cocked her head to the side, a concerned and confused look on her face.

 

"I don't want to sleep." He murmered, knowing that Kairi was giving him a look even though he had his eyes closed.

 

"Are you sure?" Kairi asked, her eyes narrowing slightly in concern.

 

Sora nodded once. He didn't want to sleep, no matter how much he needed it.

 

"Then you probably want to open your eyes," she suggested softly, a small giggle escaping her lips.

 

Sora smiled softly and looked over at Kairi. He was glad she didn't sense his fear of going back to sleep.

 

Kairi returned Sora's smile. "So...," she started, "do you want to tell me more about what happened while you were asleep, or do you just want to leave it alone?" Kairi knew that something had gone wrong, and if he didn't want to talk about it, she was okay with it.

 

Sora turned his eyes towards his feet, trying not to look too upset. He didn't really want to talk about it, but at the same time, he felt like he had to. If he wanted to get past the fear that he was feeling at that moment, he needed to let Kairi help him. He sighed softly. "I was wondering around in total darkness for a while, and then..." he trailed off. He turned his head a little and saw his clothes in the corner, fully cleaned. "Could you pull something out of my pants pocket for me?" He asked Kairi. He wanted the lucky charm.

 

Kairi nodded and got up. "Which one?" she asked as she traveled over to his clothes in the corner.

 

"The right one, I think." He told her.

 

Kairi reached into the right pant pocket like Sora had said and pulled out the only item in there. When it met her eyes, she stared at it and then looked at him, her eyes revealing her curiosity. Kairi slowly went back to the bed and sat down where she was before, holding the charm in her hand as she examined it. She looked up at Sora.
