KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora smiled and opened his eyes. "Don't cry, Kairi." He said softly as he looked into her eyes.

 

Kairi reached up and swiped the tear away. "Sorry," she apologized quietly. "I'm just so glad you're awake."

 

Sora smiled again. "Come here." He said quietly, patting a spot on the bed close to him.

 

Kairi did as he said and sat down where he touched.

 

He smiled at her. "Thank you."

 

Kairi stared down into his eyes. "For what?"

 

"Everything." He smiled.

 

Kairi smiled softly, her eyes glistening with happy tears. She was glad to see that smile of his after everything that's happened.

 

He chuckled softly, seeing the tears appearing in her eyes. He ignored them and spoke again. "So...I am alive, right?"

 

Kairi smiled slightly. "Of course." Why? Where else would he be? No. Where would she be if he wasn't?

 

Then why do I feel so dead? Sora wondered. He felt so weak; he couldn't even grab Kairi's hand and squeeze it. "Can you prove it to me?" He said with a small smile.

 

Kairi giggled and then nodded with a small smile. She leaned forward, her face getting closer to Sora's. She touched her lips to his and kissed him delicately.

 

Sora shut his eyes and kissed her back happily.

 

Kairi brought her hand to his cheek, kissing him gently. She was so happy that he was here and that he was alive. It made her heart lighter, and it was then that she knew what the warmth was in her heart. It was Sora.

 

Sora smiled inwardly when Kairi put her hand on his cheek. He was alive. And he was here, with Kairi, the one place he wanted to be most.

 

Kairi pulled her lips back, ending the kiss that sent her heart fluttering. She leaned her forehead against Sora's and smiled. If she ignored the circumstances, this was one of the best moments of her life. And she was happy it was Sora she was spending it with.

 

Sora opened his eyes again and stared into her beautiful, shining blue eyes. He smiled up at her.

 

Kairi giggled. "I love you, Sora," she whispered.

 

"I love you too." He whispered back, keeping his eyes locked on hers.

 

Kairi's soft smile widened into a grin. Those words leaving his mouth made her heart skip a beat, and she loved the feeling.
