KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Going to sleep again?" Kairi looked over at him.

OOC: Okay.

 

"Just resting my eyes." He said softly. He didn't want to sleep, he wanted to be awake in case something happened again.

 

"Oh." Kairi looked up at the clock. It was ten in the morning.

 

Sora let out a breath through his nose and left conciousness.

 

Kairi glanced over at Sora. "Sora?" she called quietly. She stared at him, noticing his even breathing and closed eyes.

 

Sora sighed softly in his sleep.

 

Kairi smiled softly and leaned back against her pillows.

The doctor pushed the door open.

Kairi looked over and put a finger to her lips.

The doctor nodded and shut the door quietly. He approached her bed. "Feeling better?" he whispered.

She nodded.

The doctor smiled. "Good. Have you been feeling any pain this morning?"

 

Sora hadn't wanted to fall asleep, but now that he was, he really felt at peace. He smiled inwardly.

 

Kairi thought back. She hadn't said anything to Sora about it when he asked her how she felt, but she did have a tender spot in the back of her head and she did feel pains here and there. "Yes," she whispered, "but they're not as bad as yesterday."

The doctor nodded. "Okay. Where does it hurt?"

Kairi brought a hand to the back of her head. "Um...it hurts when I touch it right here and I still have the sharp pains in my head, but they're not really that...sharp anymore," she explained softly.

"Okay. Give it a little more time and if you're feeling better in a little while, we'll give you a prescription and you'll be free to go, Kairi. Okay?"

Kairi nodded. "Thanks."

The doctor smiled and exited the room.

 

Sora shift and sighed softly. He had heard soft voices, but he didn't understand what they were saying.

 

Kairi waited a few seconds to make sure the doctor was gone before getting out of her bed again. She swung her legs over the side and stood up. Sora was sitting in the chair next to her and she smiled at his sleeping form; he looked peaceful. She put a hand on his shoulder and kissed his head lightly. She then traveled over to the window and sat in the chair, looking up at the sky.

"I'm so bored." Axel complained to nobody. He grabbed the tv remote and turned on the television.

Sora smiled a little in his sleep.

OOC: I'll type up a recap later.

 

Listening to the traffic down below, Kairi winced when she was reminded of the car accident. She was so close to being injured, even killed. She wasn't going to be able to walk around the streets of New York City without being scared for a little while. The girl tucked her red hair behind her ear and tried to ignore the bustle of the streets. She stared up at the sky and watched a few birds fly by, free and able to explore the world around them. Kairi smiled slightly at the thought of it and closed her eyes as the sun's warm rays touched her pale skin.

 

Axel stared at the tv in horror after he had heard the latest news broadcast. He immediatly picked up his phone and speed dialed Roxas' cell phone. He needed to warn his friends about the trouble that was heading their way.

Sora opened his eyes a crack and saw Kairi by the window. He smiled softly as he got out of the chair and looked towards the window. He walked up to Kairi and put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm going to go for a quick walk." He said softly.

OOC: Recap- Everyone's still in the hospital. Kairi's feeling better, but not completely. Sora still has on-and-off feelings of sickness. Nothing too significant has happened in the past 10 pages, just a lot of talking and such.

 

Kairi looked up and smiled softly. "All right." She understood if he needed to get out of the hospital room.

Roxas felt his phone vibrate in his pocket as the ringtone rang out. He pulled it out and looked at the caller ID. "Axel?" He flipped the phone open and put it to his ear. "Hello?"

 

Sora gave her one last smile and exit the room.

"Where are you guys?" Axel said hurriedly into the phone.

 

"At the hospital. Kairi cracked her head open." Roxas got a confused look on his face, noting that Axel sounded flustered. "Why?"

 

"You guys are in danger." Axel said gravely. "Listen, that 'doctor' escaped from police and is on his way there. I'm heading over there now."

 

Roxas froze. "W-What? How?!"
