KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Sora," she said as she kept her eyes shut. She couldn't open her eyes and the silence was too much for her.

 

Sora was confused. She didn't sound angry. In fact, she sounded...pained. Pained! Sora finally understood. She wasn't feeling good. "I'm going to go get a doctor." He told her, patting her hand with his once before he rose to his feet.

 

Kairi opened her eyes. "No! No, don't go," she begged, looking over at him. She didn't want to be left alone. Kairi wanted him here with her.

 

"What do you think we should do?" Luxord said to Axel. "Axel...Aaaaaxeellllll?" He said.

 

Sora jumped a little when Kairi begged for him to stay. He looked down at her. "You need more medicine," He said softly, watching her carefully.

"WHAT?!" Axel shouted from the grill. "Were you talking to me?" He had dozed off.

 

Kairi looked at him. "I don't care about any of that." Didn't he ever think that maybe just his presence made her feel better? That was the case right now; if he left she'd only feel worse because she'd know she was alone. And Kairi hated being alone.

 

Sora was torn. Should he stay or should he go get help? Kairi obviously didn't feel good, and it didn't seem like he was helping by staying...

 

"Do you want to just take the day off? Like anyone is going to come to Burger King, which I can't believe because it is the cleanest one in town. But if we do go somewhere, remind be to take the rat out of the fries. I guess someone left it in their from the last time they used it." Luxord said leaning agains the table were he was sitting.

 

Kairi saw the look on his face and turned away. She was just making it worse. The familiar feeling of pain shot through her head again and she bit her lip, and did it hard. Her eyes closed again with the pain and she sat there, trying to pull through.

 

Sora made a decision. He was going to get help. "I'll be right back." He promised as he walked towards the door.

Axel shrugged, not really listening to what Luxord had to say. "Whatever."

 

One tear slid from Kairi's closed eye as she dealt with the pain. Why wouldn't it just go away? Why was she going through this? She changed the direction of her thoughts and told herself it was better her than Sora. He'd gone through too much. It'd only be fair if the pain was shared.

 

Sora walked out the door and down the hall, looking for the doctor. He saw him at a receptionist's desk. He quickly walked up to him and stood in front of him. "Kairi isn't feeling good, can you check on her?" He plead.

 

'He's not listening to me again. No one ever listens to me. I should kill myself. No one would notice.' Luxord thought getting that deranged look on his face.

 

The doctor looked up. "Of course." He turned to the nurse next to him. "Excuse me for a few moments." He walked out from behind the desk and started down the hallway.

Kairi felt a tear leave her eye as she winced at another shot of pain. She bit down on her lip again, trying to fight the pain.

 

Axel sat at one of the tables and looked at the McDonalds. He wondered how his friends were doing.

Sora followed the doctor to Kairi's room, not really thinking anything except about how he could help Kairi. He ignored the pain in his side and chest as he walked. He hated those nagging, painful wounds.

 

"I do hope you've been taking your medicine recently," the doctor said as he made his way down the hall.

Kairi pinched her bottom lip in between her teeth as she took on the pain. There was a throb of pain with every pulse of her body. It was hurting her and she was about to lose it.

 

The medicine. Sora had completely forgotten. Oh well, he didn't feel too bad at the moment. He would take it when he started feeling worse again.

 

"I feel like killing something." Luxord said to Axel. "Do you want to help me strangle a squirel?"

 

Axel rolled his eyes. "No, Luxord, I do not want to strangle a squirel with you."

 

"Oh...do you want some McDonalds?" Luxord asked Axel in a baby voice.
