KH- Fast Food Madness!

"Okay," Kairi said tiredly. She turned her head to look up at the ceiling, and then she closed her eyes. She held Sora's hand tightly until blackness took over, and she was gone.

 

Sora smiled as he listened to her even breathing. She was really exhausted. He felt his smile fade as he leaned back in his chair and sighed quietly. He couldn't remember the last time he had a decent amount of sleep.

 

Roxas glanced over at the two, noticing Kairi asleep and Sora in his chair. "We should all probably get some sleep while we have the moment of peace," he said, resting his arms on the chair.

 

Sora nodded in agreement. He snuggled deeper into his chair and rest his head on the back, cushioned part of it. He shut his eyes and took in a deep breath.

 

Roxas laid his head back against the back of the chair and closed his eyes.

OOC: Time passes?

Kairi opened her eyes slightly, the white room coming into view. She suddenly sighed quietly in relief, knowing that she hadn't gone back to her paralysis. She flitted her eyes around the room, noticing at once that the room was darker, dimmer because of the night outside and the few lights in the room. She saw Roxas asleep on the chair by the window and then found Sora asleep in his chair as well. Kairi smiled. At least they were getting sleep as well.

 

Sora moved a little in his sleep, starting to get uncomfortable in the hospital chair.

 

Roxas lifted his head and opened his eyes drowsily. He yawned, rubbing his eyes.

Kairi smiled at him. "Hey, Roxas," she greeted quietly.

He smiled tiredly and stretched. "How long have you been awake?" he asked softly.

"Not very long," she whispered. "We've all been asleep for a while. I'd guess it's the middle of the night."

Roxas looked out the window and nodded. "I guess you're right."

 

Sora shift again. He moved his arm under his head and shift to get comfortable. He quietly sighed.

 

Roxas glanced at Sora when he moved and caught Kairi doing the same. "I guess someone needs a little more sleep..."

Kairi nodded. "He's been through a lot lately. He deserves it." She looked at Sora with softened eyes.

 

Sora opened his eyes a crack and quickly shut them again because of the light of the hospital room. He yawned and opened them up again and saw Kairi and Roxas staring at him. He gave them a small smile.

 

Kairi smiled at him softly.

Roxas let a small smile crawl across his lips as he nodded at Sora.

 

Sora changed his position as he leaned forward, keeping his elbows on his knees. "Hey." He greeted his friends.

 

"Get enough sleep?" Kairi asked.

 

Sora smiled and shrugged. "I guess so." He looked into her eyes. "How are you feeling?"

 

"Better," Kairi said with a small smile. She was thankful that nothing had happened over night or when she woke up.

 

Sora smiled at her again. "Good." He was so relieved that nothing had gone wrong for a little while.

 

Roxas glanced out the window, noticing only a few cars on the streets. "Seems like we slept for a majority of the night." He kept his eyes on the red tail lights of a vehicle.

Kairi stared up at the ceiling. Then she glanced at the clock on the wall. "It's two in the morning."

 

Sora rubbed his eyes as he looked at the clock. 2 AM? No wonder he still felt so tired.
