KH- Fast Food Madness!

OOC:......0_o....wow, that is really twisted.

Luxord sat down at a table and sighed. "There is just nothing interesting today!" He complained.

 

Axel sighed and put down his spatula. "I know, it's so boring working at Burger King."

 

Roxas rounded the corner and started to walk down the hallway leading to Kairi's room.

Kairi opened her eyes again, but they only slowly closed. She had to stay awake. She didn't want to go back to sleep. What if she suffered from sleep paralysis again? She didn't want to go back to that.

 

Sora got up out of his seat and walked down the hall to get a drink of water.

 

Roxas nodded at Sora as he passed him, a small smile on his face as he traveled to Kairi's door.

Kairi weakly brought a hand to her forehead. Was it possible that she could get it again if she fell asleep? Kairi didn't want that....She didn't want to have to put herself or Sora through that trouble again.

 

Sora nodded back at Roxas and gave him a small smile as he walked towards the water fountain. He bent over and drank the water thirstily.

 

Kairi looked over when the door opened and noticed Roxas's form.

"How're you feeling?" Roxas asked as he shut the door.

"Tired." Kairi rubbed her eyes.

Roxas approached her. "Then why don't you go back to sleep? It'd help you recover from your surgery."

She shook her head. "No. I don't want to do that again. I'm afraid I'll go through the paralysis again, Roxas. I don't want to put you, Sora, or myself through that again."

 

Sora stopped drinking and wiped the water off his chin as he returned to his spot to wait for the doctor.

 

The doctor rounded the corner and started down the hallway, noticing the young boy on the chair outside his patient's room.

Roxas blinked. "Uh...are you sure you have to go through that a second time today? I thought it was only once in a while."

Kairi looked away frustrated and sighed. "That's comforting..."

 

Sora looked over and saw the doctor approaching. He rose to his feet, grateful that he could take something to help him feel less queezy.

 

The doctor stopped in front of him. "I have your medicine," he started quietly. "But I must ask a few questions to make sure the prescription is correct."

Roxas looked at her. "You can't stay awake forever, Kairi. Do what your body is telling you to. You obviously need rest."

"How could I need rest?" Kairi flitted her eyes over to him. "I've been sleeping for around five hours after my surgery. I swear I'm not that tired. My eyelids are just too heavy..."

Roxas arched a brow. "I'm pretty sure that means you're tired."

Kairi stared at him. "I don't want to go to sleep, Roxas..."

 

"...um, okay..." Sora was unsure of what to do. He knew that he needed medicine though.

 

"Have you been vomiting recently?" the doctor asked. "It could cause dehydration, which can turn very serious to your health."

 

Sora made a face. "Yes, I have..."

 

The doctor nodded. "Did your stomach pains follow a head injury?"

 

"...possibly..." Sora thought back to the bullet wound he had on his head.

 

"Alright." The doctor nodded again, writing on his clipboard. "Has your vomiting been unusual? Black or bloody?"

 

"Uh, yeah, it's been a little bloody..." Sora told him.

 

The doctor scribbled something on his clipboard. "Has the pain gone away and then come back recently?"

Roxas looked out the window. Kairi was being assertive, and he had a feeling he couldn't change her mind, as much as she needed the sleep.

Kairi put her hand on her stomach and stared at the ceiling. Where was Sora? He'd been gone for a while.

 

Sora slowly nodded his head. "Yes."
