KH- Fast Food Madness!

Kairi's eyes locked on his and she hesitated before nodding. "...Right." She'd forgotten about all of that.

 

Sora looked away with an awkward smile. He shouldn't have brought that up again.

 

Kairi pushed those thoughts away as she studied her hands in her lap. She thought back to a few minutes ago, Sora's happy dance popping into her mind. She couldn't help but chuckle. That'd be a memory she'd hold for a while, but if she remembered that, she'd remember her sleep paralysis...and that wasn't something she wanted to keep in her memories.

 

Sora leaned forward and pat her hand. "Hey. I'll be right back, okay?"

 

Kairi looked up and nodded. "Sure."

 

Sora smiled at her and rose from his seat. He walked out of the room. He briefly wondered where Roxas was as he walked to the bathroom.

 

Roxas sipped his water as he traveled down the halls. He passed nurses along the way and when he turned around the corner he saw one that looked almost exactly like Namine; the long hair, eyes and all. It was weird, but he knew it wasn't really her. He missed her though. He hadn't seen her in days.

Kairi looked out the window, the sunlight descending. She must've been in the operating room for hours. It was only around two or three in the afternoon when she came....

 

Sora turned a corner and the bathroom was right there. He walked inside and looked in the mirror. He looked pretty green. He grabbed his stomach and let out a small groan. It was starting again.

 

Kairi leaned her head back against her pillows. She was suddenly tired again, but she couldn't fall back asleep. She was afraid the same thing would happen like a few moments ago.

Roxas passed a trash can and threw away his water. He traveled down the hallway toward Kairi's room.

 

Sora shook his head. No. He wasn't going to let that happen again. He put on a straight face and walked back out into the hospital hallway and saw Kairi's doctor. He began walking along side him. "Um, do you have anything I can take for an upset stomach?" He asked shyly.

OOC: I gotta get off soon =(

 

The doctor looked down at the younger boy. "I'm sure we've got something. I have to get a prescription for another patient before I head back into Kairi's room. I'll see if we have anything suitable and I'll bring it when I check on her in a few minutes."

OOC: I know, me too. =/

 

Sora nodded. "Thanks. But, uh, can we not let Kairi know that I'm feeling sick? She has enough stuff going on right now."

 

The doctor arched an eyebrow. "I suppose so."

 

Sora gave him a small smile. "Thanks. I'll just, uh, wait outside the room."

 

The doctor stopped. "Uh...excuse me," he called to Sora. "Is there something wrong? Do you need medical attention?" The doctor was curious. Why else would he ask out of the blue?

Kairi leaned her head against the pillow, her eyes getting heavier. She forced them to stay open though; she didn't want to go back to sleep.

 

Sora took in a breath, pondering whether he should risk telling the doctor the truth. He stopped walking and turned around. "No, I'm fine." He told him. He couldn't risk letting anything happen while Kairi was still in her hospital bed. Maybe he would tell him eventually, just not now.

 

"Alright." The doctor nodded. He turned and walked down the hallway.

Kairi's eyelids closed again. No, I have to stay awake.

OOC: I have to go. I'm going to see Twilight. 8D Bye!

 

Sora sighed softly as he watched the doctor walk away. He probably did need medicine, but he couldn't risk letting anything bad happen to him while he was here. He had to be there for Kairi. He sat down outside Kairi's room and waited.

OOC: Bye!

 

OOC: Hey, I'm back. I've been grounded, I got a C on my report card. My parents can be pretty harsh sometimes...can I have a recap, please?

 

OOC: Oh geez, this is going to be a long recap =/.

OK, cops came to the bowling alley but Sora and Kairi got away without being caught. They went back to Kairi's house, where Sora started feeling really sick. Police sirens were wailing for a long while outside Kairi's house because of a car accident. Kairi went outside to ask for the sirens to be turned off, but a cop recognized her and was going to take her and Sora under arrest. So then Kairi and Sora began to run away through the woods behind her house. A rookie cop caught up with them and beat up Sora when he attacked him. Then Roxas showed up and saved Sora and Kairi. Roxas and Kairi went to McDonalds together and Sora meet them there, having lost the police. Then Sora got even more sick, like vommiting blood sick, and Kairi and Roxas found out. And then they found out Sora was wanted by the FBI as well. Right after that, Kairi slipped and cracked her skull, so Sora and Roxas took her to the hospital. Kairi suffered from sleep paralysis (description on that on the top of page 189). She woke up when Sora called to her. Now she's in her room and Sora just finished asking a doctor for medicine to help his upset stomach.
