She held out a red stone for him to take.

Mixt slowly took it from her and turned it over in his hands. He knew what it was but he couldn't imagine it just being handed to him. "What grade is this? and more importantly, what's the catch?" He threw in the last part when he remembered reading about an incident that happened with red stones. low grade stones had been given out to people to test the ones who sought the true stone.

 

????: You say that like I handed you a red stone, this is The Stone, the next element, or fifth, call it what you will.

 

Well she did know the difference between a philosophers stone and red stone. Still she couldn't have made this. She was too young. There would be no way she would be at a position to have made it her self, but Mixt decided to play along anyway. "So how did you make it?"

 

????: I didn't, my Brother did. He traveled all through time, sacrificing worlds of people to make this. I assume you read the book about the blood line that had all these different powers.

 

"The blue crystal..." Mixt said slowly to confirm. That would explain why he hasn't heard about any societies vanishing recently. Then it occured to him that she knew about the library. "Do you know a man with bladed wings with guns embedded in them?"

 

????: Yes the blue crystal.
She went to leave, pulling out the blue crystal when he asked about Nero.
????: Yes, I know the coward. He uses a nerve uplink so he can control his wings and avoids attacks. Only to well, why?

 

Mixt: Simple, you asked about the library and he's the farthest back I can trace it. And thank you for confirming my suspicions. But back to the point. What is the catch with all this anyway? You don't get handed something like this just because.

 

????: I hand them out to re balance time. You have missed your training, so you don't reach the level your meant to be right now. So I have tipped it a little so you are.

 

Mixt: Makes sense to a degree. Just one more thing. You knew I was training, but who was my teacher? I never learned his name. Only that he was once Nero's student.

 

????: We don't know, Nero never mentioned him, we only know as much as you told us.

 

Mixt: But I haven't- right, the crystal. So can I have your name so that I'll know when we meet again? or will only time tell.

 

????: In a few hours, you won't remember me, so I see no problem. I'm Mia.

 

Phisoxa walked out onto the island.

Phisoxa:' Where are we?"

 

Mixt almost didn't catch the name because he was surprized about the first part "What do you mean I won't remember in a few hours, Mia?" Mixt was very rapidly going in over his head with all this. He had been the top acadamy student and all but he wasn't yet where he needed to be. Though if the stone he held right now was real, that was all about to change.

 

Nero: My lab, with a spare room.

Mia: I will leave, and your mrmories of me will simple fade away. Don't worry, you will keep the stone.

 

Phisoxa walked into the lab and looked around, she restrained herself from clicking any of the shiney buttons.

Phisoxa:" Nice place you got here."

 

"I will never give up. Phisoxa is like a sister to me and I would rather die then fail." Seth said

 

Nero: Thank you.
After a while, Phisoxa felt that she must do what ever Nero told her to. It wasn't strong, but it was growing.
