kappa mikey: SUED!!!

It's about time this got sued by an anime company. It makes fun of anime O_O. No offense to Kappa Mikey Lovers.
Well, maybe this thread is too harsh how about instead of sued, spoken to.

If they sue Kappa Mikey, then why not sue everything that parodies anime? Or anything, for that matter.
This is so screwed up. =_=

 

kappa mikey rocks, and its a hilarious anime, it shouldn't get sued for parodying other anime, why not sue Steel Angel Kurumi while your at it!?

 

You can't sue a parody. They exist outside of the copyright laws.

And it isn't even real anime. Mikey is drawn in a stereotypical American style, and anything from America in it is drawn in that style. Same thing with people from Japan.
But hey, if you can sue McDonald's because of your own stupidity, why not make a big deal out of cartoons?

 

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's a parody or not. Really, who's complaining in the audience's? Everyone loves that show. XD

 

It's not an anime, for one.

I guess Kappa Mikey is aight and pretty funny for making refrences to anime which most of the American viewers will never get. It's kinda like how Shin-chan makes fun of the American way of drawing and have their characters drawn that way. They're a perfect match.

Kappa Mikey is probably one of the most freaking creative shows I've ever seen. The creator is obviously a pretty big anime fan considering all the references.
