Kingdom Hearts II Kairi doesn't love Sora?!

Exactly my point.

See,if Sora were to care more about Kairi than Riku,you would expect Sora to be the first to start the hug.Or at least get a bit nervous about how she looks now. But he did nothing.

Now with Riku,he held his hand and cried. Also,in the end of the game,after defeating Xemnas for the final time,Sora said that he would stay with Riku in the Darkness.He knew they were all safe,but he willing said that he would be in the Darkness with Riku.But then,the Light showed up.

What does this tell you?

And before anyone says something like 'The light showed up after sora read kairis note,lol',keep in mind that I am aware of that.I'm not stupid. T.T
Sora probably smiled because he was relieved that Kairi didn't forget about him,but she did in the beginning of the game. Loser.

 

Just friends? JUST FRIENDS?! Did you notice how Sora seemed more intent on finding Kairi in the first game then Riku? Did you notice that not finding Kairi in the second game made him feel all depressed and not finding Riku was like "w/e I'll find him."?! But they always hug eachother and stuff...they never kiss. It's like their awkward with one another.

He cried because Riku felt bad and neglected since he had been in the darkness.

well i hope they get together in the next kingdom hearts based on sora ...

 

Well, I do agree it implies a very strong friendship and bonding. It does appear they both care about each other a lot and that it is a sincere relationship, but at the time it's a deep friendship. I can say though, it's hard to miss the intonations that later on they will probably at least try to have a relationship with one another. Whether it works out though would remain to be seen. Even if it didn't, though, they'd probably always be close friends. It's rather clear she does love him more than she does Riku and Riku kind of backed out of the whole thing with her really. I noted he protected her still but his friendship seems stronger with Sora than with her too. In the end, Sora is sort of the centerpiece of the game and holds the 3 together.

 

*sigh* i wish they'd come together ...

 

I don't but I do wish that Sora and Riku could come together

 

It's like this in every story, dude...
The main male and female are going to fall in love with each other.
The second main male and main female are either going to be best friends/hate each other/or had a relationship in the past that didn't work out.
And the second main male is either going to find some pretty blonde, or is going to remain lonely for the rest of his life.

...or die. 8D

I hope to god Riku doesn't go die or end up a lonely awesome dude, fangrils everywhere would be pelting his @$$ with any form of I <3 you notes they could find, or they would be doing it to his grave.

 

Actually, I can imagine Riku being one those people who goes for a long time without being in a relationship and being happy like that. He is insecure and that could cause problems for him being in a relationship because he might be afraid that he would harm somebody. Not every person actually wants a partner.

Although I can imagine any fanfic scenario with Sora and Riku going together and Kairi supporting them at the side and a fanfic scenario with Riku and Kairi going together and Sora supporting them as well (although I think he might be a bit hurt first before he accepts their relationship).

 

Riku probably will be screwed over as he has in all the other games. Every chick likes Sora for some reason. I doubt Riku could seriously date some mundane girl because he'd feel it would never amount to real love because he could never tell her about his true self. So if he did go out with someone else, it'd be empty and he'd just end up losing the relationship. I could see him not bothering because that's the case. Usually you want the one you care about to know you and not have to bury some secrets way down. So unless a new female who has dealt with similar things comes along, I think Riku's going to die alone but at least be happy with his friends. Sucks, but he's been so overlooked so far. lol

 

i thought among three friends... one of them would be a loner ? and tat person is Riku XDD

 

omg - i have thread about this - kairi didn't love sora - sora grew jealous because she and riku fell in love - and he turned dark - sora's darkness

 

*Sighs loudly* I'm pretty sure Kairi and Riku were never *together*, Angelsneedflight. As for the whole "Do they really love eachother" thing, I think Kairi has feelings for Sora, and Sora DID, but he doesn't have those same feelings now. In KH2, he shows alot more relief and joy when he meets Riku-- to quote xJayn, 'He cried because Riku felt bad and neglected since he had been in the darkness'... i don't think this is true, he cried because he missed him, and he had been looking for him and he had been right there the entire time... "I looked for you! I looked everywhere for you!"-- than he does to Kairi- a hesitant hug. Kairi obviously loves Sora. But whether or not Sora really, truly loves her back, I'm still not sure of.

If anything, he loves Riku more than Kairi ;P (Just kidding)

That's my long winded openion on the matter.... bear in mind i never played the first game....

I think Sora really loves Kairi,I mean he did everything to save her.
He even sacrificed himself to save her,isn't that enough?

What about the hug she gave him in TWTNW?
